You know, sometimes the size of the udder is a general indication of how many kids they might have. Smallish udder - maybe only 1 kid - HUGE udder - maybe a litter!

Hope she goes soon!

oh i kinda hope so! cause if hes only got 1 n there were in BIG trouble!...

got 400lbs of dirt unloaded form the car and filled into bed number 2...now im being lay cause i feel kinda yuck.
bunnies seem to be quite happy in their new cages though.
i should hve enough wire to make a big baby cage or 2 slightly smaller ones
and enough of the narrow stuff to make some transport cages which would be realy good or sales and stuff. (they shoudl work for ducklings chicks ect too)

once the big baby cage is built ill need to start figuring out e-lop cages, grow out cages for the velveteen and plush projects and a tractor as a grow out pe for the meaty buns.
also want to make a matching tractor for growing out some meat chickens in the fall since i didnt get it doe intime for spring.

fencing is also high on the "to do list" but gotta get the burn piles delt with (least the one neer the enceline) first.

chug chug chug...i feel a little like that "i think i can" train from Dumbo

this must be what lizards feel like, im itchy and my skin is peeling off my face! Damn you sunburn...
and i look outside and its cold and gloomy and wet and i had to put my heat back on...GAH! damn you TN weather, talk about bi-polar lol

i need ot spend the rest of the day cleaning, i amaged to get some dishes done then got sidetracked snuggling wiht puppies and playing with baby birds...
and befoe i knew it lunch time arived and my tummy told me in no uncertain temrs that i better pay attention.
so beans on toast is in prep (because im british and thats what we do lol) for lunch then back to making this house semi presentable.
got bird cages and kitty litter boxes to do, a vacume to run around, laundry to put away and dishes to sort through, put away, more to wash...

I can say the new rabbit hutches seems to stand up to last nights wind/this mornings rain pretty well so YAY. i used a heavier duty green "farm tarp" on the new set and i like it, its thicker and ore sturdy so i think im going to switch out the thin blue one on the angora bank next month when i have a little extra cash.

still nothing from lily, but it looks like budock wants togo brrody (goose) shame ive only got the girls, going to see if i can find some fertile goose eggs to slip under her if she sticks to the nest over thenext 24 hours.

oh well...food!!!

lol, if you dont like the weather in the USA wait 2 hours...itll change LOL!...this is myexpereince both in CT and TN so im pretty ucre it must be an american thing. least engliand is CONSISTENT...sure its consitently rainy...but least you know what to expect LOL!

E sent me hoe withsome goats milk today,im a happy girl. got a jar slated for the crockpot to make a batch of yogurt out of
thinking of doing some soft cheese with jar 2 and bottle #3 is the freshest so ill probaby just use that for drinking lol.

critters got a little spoilt this afternoon, some celery and peppers to the rabbits, ducks, geese and goats got celery and a little bit of bread an the pig got celery bread and some spoilt milk which they LOVED
the of the older baby buns were looking a little bloated so they got a dose of gas-x and mineral oil ad belly massages, theyl be on hay and water for a couple days (upp the fiber) untill im happy...
eyeballmight be going home on saturday so *fingers crossed*
thatll leave me with castor boy "nightshae" whos soldbut currently boarding, and nose the meaty mix girl, then theres the 4 in the nestbox right now, one black otter is sold, the broken black otter tri-carrier is staying so that leaves a rew boy and a tri-carrying black otter girl to find homes for and there was someone at the last swap loking or a pair and these 2 would make a nice pair. so *fingers crossed*

the parrotlet babies refused mbreakfast form the syrnge this moring, thi means another couple days of letting them feed themselves to make sure they can and plenty of handling to make sure there sweet and tame and theyll all be ready to head to thier new homes.

and puppies are 2 weks old today and have starte inding their eyeballs so THATS always excitg (eyeballs is my favorite part lol), imtrading the Hairless gorl for an unrelated hairless girl and the pp boy is sold, so that ust leaves 3 pp girls, 1 has a tentative on her...*fingers crossed* and the lady that wants to trade is also going to be using jaspers "services" on one of her girls when she comes to pick up lol so that helps.

i NEED to get my spetic pumped and the pipe thats broken and causing the water to back up fixed...so its not like ill have ANY extra money at all ever...
but hey...right now illbe happy if i can cover the feed bill each month lol

oh i knwit will eventually...
im just getting to the poit where id realy like just enough fun money to go get a new tattoo...ive been trying to save up for my next peice for the past 4 years lol.

in other news...
ran to town today to pick up my perscription, bought banannas and a sweet potatoe while in town ad piggly had a guy outside selling soe seedlings since mine in my greenhouse arnt oing much (ill have a few but not many) i took a look, picked up 3 little cherry tomatoe starts and 2 "patio" tomatoes (a determinate veriety) i rely needed 6 plants but thats all he had let and was selling them at 25 cents a peice so i ook what he had. ive got them topsy turvy style in baskets on the back deck, lanted them with some crushed eggshell now...a long as i remember to water freqeutnly and occasionally top dress with rabbit poop we should be ok, least ill have some salad maters if nothingelse grows. i do have 3 rutgers seedlings 1 dwarf silver fir seedling and a japanese trifle seedling poking their heads out so...the silver fir can go in basket #6, and the rutgers and jap trifel will go in the veggie bed... hoping a few more decide to come say hi too. i go through sooo many maters!

baby bunnies in the nest box are officially mobile. freeked out this morning as i coudl only ind 3 out of the 4...turns out the 4th was ust hiding UNDER all the bedding lol. ninja bunny!

and rubies pupies were officially 2 weeks old yesterday and have eyeballs!!!

LOOK!

got to think of a name for her...
right now, Jette, Jade, Rain, and Gypsy all jup to mind.

IM A GRAMMY!!!!
it twins.
mahogany line back buck with frosted ears white crown and muzzle came first, took here a good 15 mins from start to arrival but he presented perfectly
then less than 10 mins and 1 push later, the blonde girl enteed the world.
blond girl looks like hes got a few white and charcoal spots and if thats the case shes staying and is called buttercup!

once i was convince lilly was cotent i cleaned up the goat arn gave them lots of fresh straw and filled the hay feeders up and thn just sat and watched them find their feet, shes a good momma and if she kepe up shes also gogn to be a dream to milk, she had no problems with me touching her uder squeezing ect.

so im covered in hay and straw and "goat goo" and im hungry...
so im going to go clean up andmake a sammich i think.

aint they beautiful...

ill post some dry pictures later...you know...once they are dry lol
