oh my goodness oh my goodness...

been doing some reserch today after mum said shed be willing to "watch' my fish for a couple of weeks after the move...

shipping fihs is NOT as complicated as i first thought and can be done via usps priority mail! WOOT WOOT, dont know what the price woudl be, but im thinking gigantors the only one that will be in need of a real decent amount of space...
it might just be doable to move and still keep my prescious fishies.

and im still debating on the linnies.
if someone wants to offer them a good home ill sell them, if not, there comming with, i do love the little fuzzy beaks!

not a bad weekend so far...
ride on saturday and yesterday we whent to a frend of mum and dads form the bike club for lunch, she lives neer candlwood lake and has a lovely home, we spent the day chowing on grilled meats and enjoying the sunshine :)

today is gorgeous out so im thinking im going to get dressed, have some lunch then head out to do some weeding around the pond and finnish mulching the last of the beds that need doing.

should hear something back tomorrow about the contract and getting utilities turned on *fingers crossed* so im a little antsy about that whole thing :/
i realy want this to work out.

parents are driving me a tad nuts...
AC season has officially started for them which esentially means having the ac on whenever the house is over 70 degrees...its beautiful today so ive got my dors and windows open and dad just yelled at me because "weve got the ac on..." WHY!? its not THAT hot, theres a beautiful breeze, why does it need to be on? and more so hes going to complain when the electric bill comes...

its not like anyone even tells me the ac is on...you cant hear it and unless im sitting under the vent i dont realy notice it...
i love having the ac for those hot muggy days...but on a day like today...
well needless to say once i have my own place the windows and doors will be open as often as possible!
that AC will only run if i absolutly NEED to run it.

but yeah, the rest of today will prbbaly be filled with a little work in the garden and baths for the dogs, they is stinky...
nfact i think ill do that NOW.

:thumbsup

No need for AC yet here either. Our temps are higher, but it has been so windy it is still comfy.

We have low humidity so if things do get too hot, I just bring out the portable swamp cooler.

Is your dad related to my hubby? He also has to have the AC on when I don't think it's needed.

lol, mabe...

i mean in all honsety it was 91 degrees this afternoon, but theres a little breeze and it doesnt FEEL like 91 and the house because of the AC is actually kind of cold...or at least i think it is and mah nekkid dog is currently hiding under a blanket so he things so too...

but i dont pay the electric bill lol, so none of my buisness i guess :p

me and mum whent out this afternoon, mums taken up couponing and had a bunch that ran out today...
shes doing pretty well, nowhere neer the level of the "extreem" couponers, but today we hit walgreens, riteaid and walmart with some "going to die today" coupons, spent about $30 and saved close to $100, and we only got things we needed, mabe a little MORE than we needed overall due to alot of buy one get one coupons lol, but we stuck to the list.

dads fillng the pool today (15ft walmart special above ground pool) so hopefully this weather will stay in and we'll have acess to the pool without having to go all the way to the Y...will still use the Y for classed, gym and swimming for excersize, but the pools nice on those days when you just want to cool off.

eventually one day in the distant future id love to have a small inground lap pool with a small spa put in at my house...ya know...when im rich lol...

feeling acomlished today :)

mum needed groceries, so we grabed the coupon book and off we whent...we spent a good 2 hours in the grocery store But at the end of the day we spent $100 on $250 worth of groceries!

yay!

were certainly not "extreem couponers" right now...BUT were doing well with our bargains and only getting thing we actually need rather than buying things simply because we "have a coupon" lol.

and i got home to find out hud signed the contract so we should hear somehting tomorrow about how we get the utilities turned on so i can get the inspection done...*woot*

and now its time for me to grab a basket, go out and harvest some salad yummies from the garden then make my yummy burgers for dinner...making beef today...
ground beef, garlic, onion, soy sauce, more garlic, and did i mention more garlic?, and my brother and dads burgers also get a good dose of crushed red pepper and a tough of cajun spice too :D i much prefer home made to the store bought :)
ive found eveyrthing binds together quite nicely so i never add egg or breadcrumbs like some recipies call for.

so yeah.
weathers glorious, pool is filling, good shopping afternoon, yummy dinner planned and even got some good word back on the house (were taking 1 step forward rather than the 3 back of last week lol)

ugh, this asset managment company is run by monkies i swear...

so we got word on friday that eveyrthing was in, looked good, and was getting signed and that my agent would get a call yesterday or today with the info on getting all the utilities turned on for inspection...
we have 15 days form them signing the contract (friday) to get everything on and checked to suit my needs...

well no word yesterday, nothing today so my agent called then emailed them..

my agents email whent along the lines of "now the contract has been signed and accepted when can we get the utilities turned on so we can proceed with inspection?"

the email back
"the buyer has 15 days to fulfill any needed inspection"

DOH!
we know that...what we dont know is if you guys have given the go ahead and are ready to supply ALL needed info and acess keys so i CAN get the utilities turned on and get the inspection...

*blink blink*

they have t give my agent cetrain information and all the access keys to the property before we can get the utilities on, theres a key to the house front, one to the back, one to the garage, one to the crawl space...we need all of those to get everythign on and get a proper inspection.

gah!

all they need to do is tell us how we get the utilities turned on for inspection!

well some good news...i think.
i have a number to call to get the elecrtic turned on...
waiting on info on who to call to et the gas and the well turned on too...

now comes the hard part, according to hud standards these folks cant be on the property unsupervised (must be supervsed by agent i belive) so im wondering if i can have my agent call to arrange everything and i just pay everyone that needs paying lol.

i just want to get everything checked...
im not booking the inspector untill i know everythings on and good to go because no point in him getting there to find out he cant check the gas or plumbing because those havent been turned on...and those are kind of important lol.
