W/our church, it makes no difference if you attend or not nor what you believe. At times the local school will let us know of families in the area that are in need.

Wow - sounds like the food bank could use a little help too. That's rough but maybe their donations will increase and they can be more generous...sigh...

Silly Keira - killing her bed, lol. I know the feeling - my Turbo is bad that way too. Just got him and his Murderess pen mate a new bed at TSC the other day. It was a giant one and at only $10 bucks I thought I'd give him a treat. It lasted 3 days...3 days and it's innerds are all outerds now! We took him with us to a pet friendly bed and breakfast once and the owners were so disturbed that we hadn't brought his bed. They offered to loan him one while he was there (they thought we were terrible pet owners - I mean how DARE we not bring his bed) I politely turned them down, told him that he gets a towel to sleep on because he will first MOLEST his bed and then DESTROY it, lol! They got a sheepish look on their face and agreed that a towel might be best.

Did you find a new owner for Sage - and do you have baby goats yet????

Deb, I doubt the church would mind...its more a personal issue, they obviousy have so man in their ow flock deperate and lack to give out that id feel weird lol.
and yes FEM, I do think the banks themselves a struggling and that's the isse...makes you wonder wats happening with the usual regular donators this time of year...

ive ot some people interested in Sage, hes away for the weekend but wants to come either mondya or Tuesday they are looking for a pasture sow to breed to raise babies from, shes have an acre pasture to tend and there hoping to find a boar to join her...pure or otherwise...so *fingers crossed*

no baby goats yet...im kinda hoping they wait till just after Christmas, and don't mind if they go longer by any means, neither look huge, and the little signs I was seeing the other day arnt as prevalent yesterday/today. ligs arestill re, thouh definalty not as tight when compared to lilly and buttercup.
right now im thinking ill keep any doelings (hoping for 2-3) sell the rest of the herd and any boys, any babies born now should be small enough to ride n a crate come march and give me a start. they will be F1 mini Nubians. (nigi x Nubian) Daizy im preyt sure is a mini herself (shes about 3/4 the size of lily and poopy who are not large themselves) but bred toa nigi babies will still be f1's.)
ill bottle feed these babies obviously and have a starton the new herd.

dad seems to eb liking the idea of a "mini farm" (all livestock beg miniature breeds)
so the eventual plan will be mini Nubians and/or Nigerians, miniature southdown (babydolls) sheep, miniature cows of some kind (dexters or mini jerseys most likely, mum LOVES jerseys) and miniature pigs (id like KuneKune pigs but prices are high on those...)

so yeah.
but we'll see...might get all boys lol. that would be my luck :p

today ive got to run down o town and hand over all my (very small) amount of savings to the tune of $150, to pay the remaining taxes tht WERNT added to the financing as asked (because the dealership didn't know about it) and get the plates transferred...taxes are due t the endof next month, but I may try ad put that off since ill be moving in February and will have to go through it all again...*sigh*

oh well.
gonan go get that done before the rains come in.

In good news I wont be alone for Christmas. going to WBF's on Christmas eve day and going to another group o frines on christmas day.

well getting the car done...NOT happening...
turns out I not only owe the $150 for the tag transfer plus 2.75% they didn't take off on the purchase price, but that the extended warentee is also taxable in the state of tn (not in AL) and this I owe 9.75% on that too...
$325..HA!
so I told him, look im more than poor, im loosing my house and im about ready to commit myself and he laiughed...then he saw I as rather serious...
so his suggestion (and I didn't hear it form him) given ill be moving at the end of February...
"drive carefully on the temporary tag and just do it all when you move..."

im actually going to ask my aprents to find out what id need to do to register he car in NJ now, (if it can eb done long distance, which should be doable as long as I can hold off on an emmisions test until I get ther ein march) least if its registered in NJ the plates are truly legal.

as it stands right now according to the paperwork I have 20 days to transfer plates OR theres a $15 late fee, nowher eon the form does it give an expiration date...
I don't have $325...I don't even realy have $150, so yeah...

he goes "wow realy is turning into a merry Christmas for you huh?!"

got to figure outwhats going on and send an email to the dealership...im going to nicely guilt trip them fornot taking out the appropriate taxes (which were SUPPOSED to be rolled into the financing) and the ask them to contact the county clerk and send the paperwork over to the place itll need to go in NJ...ive just got to figure out how im handling that first.

and then I got home and realized ive got a cold sore (YAY weakend immune system, im sure that's stress) and then today I smacked my funny bone when tending the rabbits (one of the e-lop girls needs some serious personality adjustment, she tried to bite me (got my sleave instead) I told her, mean rabbits go to the stew pot!)
but shes right at that age where she may be hormonal...got to heck her pedigree and see her exact date of birth, andi may expose her to my rex buck this afternoon/tomorrow (my e-lop buck isn't realy old enough yet at only 6mths.) and see if that calms her down some.

its windy but currently no rain and temp are beautiful.
not sure what today is bringing but im trying to keep my head up

Pink - you and I think alike, lol. I'm going to need a new roof on my house within the next couple of years - so, sometimes I think that a very selective hail storm (to hit my house ONLY) wouldn't be such a bad thing! Shhhh - shame on me...

lol, well were still standing here and the worst is over, though it does look like a big band of yellow mess (heavy rain some storms) will be with us pretty much all night.

but power only flickered for a few seconds, and otherwise were good other than a likely blown about mess in the morning.

decided tomorrow needs to be cleaning day, my sink is once again full of dishes. (I hate doing dishes!)
and I need to see if the pack of cranberries a frined gave me is sauce safe for Christmas day (they are a little on the squishy side so I may end up having to make a town run for cranberries tomorrow or Monday.

Glad you survived the storms intact! Ugh - I know what you mean about dishes - it's my least favorite household chore.

Hope your cranberries are still good!
