Pink Fox: its Raining...IN MY HOUSE! :/

ugh what a morning.
still no word form the lady that wants one of te angoras...
the guy that was supposed to be commign for sage decided hed try an screw me on the price...(ill come bac to that)
and now ive got a dying bunny and no clue why hes suddnely failing.

bunny first since that's the shortest...
my little Holland lop that ive been trying to sell...
fine yesterday ate breakfast, drinking, acting normal, first to his door to say hello, ready for food...
yesterday evening quick check normal, washing his face.
this morning huddned tuckd up tightly into a little ball, very weak and cold.
picked him up, hes got no energy, hes lost a lot of weight very quickly (and I have noticed hes been knocking food out of his bowl)
so hes now in a carier infront of the heater in the livingroom...going to give him some sugar water once his temp gets back up...if his temp comes back up. im not holding my breath.

in the pig front.
talkgin to this guy for the past week, he lowball offered me...I countered, he agreed on price...
spent the last week answering various questions, 2-3 emails a day.
emailed him last night as hes supposed to come out today....emailed bck, yup no problem, emailed him to confirm price and cash payment..he eailed m back confirmed everythings ready to go...

this morning I wake to an email stating hes unwilling to pay that much but hell offer me *insert less than I paid for them as 3 da old piglets*
I told him not to waste the gas coming over because ses worth more than that in my freezer and im certinaly not desperate OR stupid...
*sigh*
if you have an issue with price, say so step 1, when we come to an agreed upon price, don't think im dumb enough to ry and let you swindle me last minute...its insulting and rude
I don't expect to make a fortune on my livestock...
but don't insult me if you want to maintain ANY kind of open dialog...
I don't do buisess with people who think they can screw around at the very last minute and get away with it out of principle, it angers me, it makes me anxious (I don't like unplanned stuff) and it puts me on the spot and I REALY don't like being put on the spot.
Seriously what I wrong with people...

and then to top it all off...no milk for my oatmeal (I don't like it with water yuck) and no eggs either.
probably going to have peanutbutter on toast or something...

but yeah...

still got to finish thawing out the bunny bottles an get water out to them, and need to check the goats

well some good news...
little lop boy who I was pretty sure wouldn't live an hour has taken in about 12 ccs of fluid, has warmed through and is now Actually eating.
set him up with food and a bottle of sugar water and a sice of apple
im petting at som point last night his water bottle froze, and since hes lost weight due to likely kicking his food out, hes gten very cold...
hes likely going to be a house bunny for a while untll I get some weight on him and hopefully a couple weeks of TLC hell be ready to go AND hell be much sweeter/friendlyier than before.

Sounds like a Christmas miracle to me! Glad he's doing better.

sems like, hes definatly doing better, cant say if this is just that sudden weird improvement last push before death thing or if he realy just was too cold to move/do anything.
hes still with us, actually mobile enough to turn around, drinking, eating...
we'll see what tomorrow brings him.

Spent the afternoon/early evening with WBF and family had a great time.
took Keira along, who couldn't figure out why no one would play with here lol.
shes so big compared to most other dogs and shes ALL feet when she plays, she likes to bop and bounce.
but she had a good time and has spent the evening sprawled on her back feet up being a silly monkey.

tomorrow the plan is to get up, putter around, ive got cranberry sauce and glazed carrots to make and livestock to tend...then after that itll be gift opening with the family and then Christmas dinner with some local friends (we do an "orphans Christmas" where all of us with no family to spend the day with get together and be each others family

and that's about it.
tired, so gonna head to bed.

little lop Ash is still with us so I upgraded him to a house cage, is one of the cages I have for sale but I figure ive got today with it at minimum (and plenty of other cages to sell)
hopefully his impressive turn around will mean hes ready for find a new home in a week or 2.
if someone wants to buy one of the other 2 with this cage ill set him up in one of the dog crates so its not a big deal.
seeing him move around of his own free will is pretty impressive, yesterday this time all he could do was flop around...
I think getting fluids into him yesterday probably saved his life. gave him enough energy to actually eat.

anywho.
waiting on word form my sister as to what time we'll be opening gifts, then ill go make the cranberry sauce and glazed carrots for my share of he dinner this afternoon...
might make a banana bread too, gots lots of past prime banannas.

update on little loppy boy...
hes doing reat as a house bunny...
Ive got him listed for sale as a house bunny and if not hell be goingto my sister, shes after a small pet of her own and keeps going on about bunnies and snakes and hedgehogs...
at least a bunny i can use, ill occasionally breed him to my rex's to help or on some plush/velveteens.
he seems quite content in the house.

tomorrow im going to make some phone calls andfind out exactly how much its going to cost to get eveyrhting id need to take the animals to NJ with me.
i got wordback directly from the NJ state vet, pig just needs a health certificate, the goats need a breucellosis test no more than 30 days before hand, and a health certificate.
depending on cots pig may end up going for a ride to NJ, and hopefully at least be able to take 2 adult does too, lilly and poppy.
buttercup and daisy are a little more standoffish so im hoping to sell them with aspen as a trio.

that's assuming its not overly expensive.
right now it looks like renting a budget truck/uhaul is going to be the option, i cant find/afford a good enclosed trailer thus far (i need a title on it to take it out of state) so...we'll see..
so...yeah.

otherwise not much going on. made spaghetti squash for dinner YUM! but otherwise energy levels and mood are lagging.
