Good grief... I"m sorry it has turned into such a mess. Hopefully you can find something else close by, but if not it is always a good thing to have time for saving money

thanks guy...

it seriously does suck...it wasnt even so much the area itslef i was set on but the house and the land it sits on...

the search isnt officially "off" but im definatly going to give myself a little time before i get realy back into it again...
right now im more interested in getting my earnest money back from HUD and the electric company and getting my inspector payed for the work he did.

im so frustrated angry and sad
part of me knows this just means theres something better suited for me out there...
but the rest of me is having a temper tantrum right now. :(

*pouts*

im still going to take some time over the next few weeks to go through a bumch of stuff and try and tagsale/craigslist/freecycle things, ive got too much "stuff"...

A well could cost a lot more than 5,000. We got an estimate for approx 4,000 for ours and it was eventually 15,000 to reach water, despite our next door neighbor reaching the same underground water at about 200 feet. But that was a HUGE boulder in our financial path that we did not expect. We had a lot of other plans for that 10,000 and now the fixing up we wanted to do to our fixer upper didn't happen, but we are living here anyways.

So just that one issue alone could have really blown the deal out of the water if you had the same luck with that we did.

your absolutly right...the plumber said wells in the area generallly go to 175 ft but it could very well be more, so that alone was 3500-4000 IF they hit water at 175 ft, plus the cost of a good pump, and possibly and air tank...
$5000 was just the estimate for "if everythign goes well..."

thats why i was happy that the spring got an A+ on quantity and quality...

but according to fha, springs are listed as an unaceptable water source...
what gets me is the listing stated WELL if it wasnt for that i wouldnt have even bothered with the inspection.
*thud*

and i called the elctric company about when il see my refund and the woman id been dealing with isnt in the office, so theyll have her call me back probbaly on monday...
*blink blink*

so ive had to transfere the money for my inspector out of my savings so i can send him a check tomorrow last thing i need is him comming after me for unpaid services ontop of it all...
i was assured ill get my deposit back for the electric but the woman didnt see anythign on the account about turn off ect so couldnt help me. *shakes head*
i swear...monkeys, and now i have to continue waiting...grr arg!

the hugs are very helpfull :)

just having one of those days...
the one day i REALY need chocolate icecream and someone has eaten all of my chocolate truffle skinny cow bars *cries* its the only icecream i can have since surgery, and i didnt even get to have 1 :(

nothing is sacred, i just wanted my own place
one where my icecream would be safe (i dont have a full size fridge/freezer in my room, just a little inty one, and theres no freezer on it (well there is but it doesnt work) so i have to put my freezer stuff in the chest freezer in the garage...

and if its not my "secret icecream" its either my makeup, shampoo, stuff out of my fridge, clothes (and i dont have many of those)...

*deep breaht*

just keep telling myself, theres something better out there...
this just wasnt YOUR house....
your dream homes still waiting for you to find it...

but its soooo disheartening, especially since i just cant afford another trip to tn to look at more houses right now so even looking would be silly...got to save up more money so i can make another trip. *ugh*
