I have a gas log fireplace with mantle I will sell ya dirt cheap if you want it! :D We took it out this last year because we are getting rid of our gas heat, and opting for wood heat instead. I listed it on CL but no bites that late in the heating season. I think I may still have pics of it on my computer somewhere :p Let me know if you get the house and may be interested. I have no problem with delivering it to you either, as I now have a truck again.

The house looks like it will be nice and cozy. I love that it sits on such a nice size plot of land. Hope you're getting a good deal on it, and it goes through. It really is a nice area. Although...you WILL technically be more backwoods than I am then ;)

And yes TN definately has it's share of mosquitos and stuff to bite the mess out of you. I SO want a screened porch too!!!

I'll find the pics and PM them. The BTU is enough to heat that whole home for sure.. I think it was 13000 BTU but I'll have to check to be sure.

had a lovely day today...
motorcycle ride with my dad and some frineds form the motorcycle club, then this evening whent to thiers for a BBQ...just spent the evening sitting round chilling, singing songs...
and somewhere in it all i managed to adopt myself a chair...

not just any chair though...

see ive always wanted one of those huge oversized person and a half chairs with a nice big ottoman, i lOVE them...
just so happens, that while redoing their family room, the couch broke and the decision to buy new furniture was made leaving a giant overstuffed person and a half chair with huge ottoman looking for a loving home!

im not sure yet where in my new house this will go...or where in my current house itll go if the new house doesnt work out...
but its MINE. there going to keep hold of it for me untill i have a moving date, (or otherwise make space) it needs a slip cover but its soooooo comfy, spent most of the night curled up on it. and its big enough that it can eaisly be used as a twin sized bed when you put the ottoman up against the chair.

im thinking i might need to instead of taking the sectional (which in reality is my parents) keep my eye out for a small 2 seater couch so that i have space for this baby in my livingroom...
if not im thinking it would be ever so comfortable in my eventually to be screened in car port.

mum and dad also scored a new recliner out of the deal too which since dad took the recliner form downstairs and moved it up, mums been on his butt about it, so now she gets a "new" one (which she says is actually more comfortable than the origional) for the downstairs :D
gotta love hanging out with people and comming home with "new" furniture...especially new furniture that wil be delivered "when (im) ready"

just a quick update...
things seem to be chugging along.

inspector wants to get out there tomorrow morning and get that done *yay*
called my mortgage guy this morning and he did me my new preapproval letter, that got faxed to my agent who can send it over to the prperty owner as per requested,
now i just need to wait for my "list of things to give to us" and we'll be all set to get that info in to finalize the loan nice an quick.
got to mail out my earnest money check this afternoon to my agent so thats out of the way too...

yup yup, chugging along.

today is going to be filled with trying on clothes and a goodwill trip with the ones that dont fit any longer...
and depending on the temps this afternoon ive got some work to do in the garden, weeding and the likes...
and as soon as i have the inspection report, itll be time to start sorting through and begin boxing my stuffs....*gah!*
excited.

though what may end up happening is me going out there for closing via flight, and getting some measurments THEN spend aug packing everything and oficially move in September, depends on how quickly i can get things sorted and afford the moving truck.
parents said i can have a month off from rent (since ill have the mortgage payment to make) if i want to do it that way so...we'll see.
all those logistics will come once i know everythings a go lol.

inspection is definatly on for tomorrow morning...
*fingers crossed*

today i managed to send amother 3 bags of clothes off to goodwill...
it leaves me in almost dire need of bras, jeans and some new pj's but at least ive got less to move with LOL
im going to need more sweaters before winter hits too, im down to 4 lol.

im currently in that "in between" size stage, my size 16 jeans are a tad too big but i think 14s would still be a little small...
my 40D bras are a little too big in the back but perfect in the cup, but a 38D is just a tad too tight (and too small in the cup) do they make a 39D1/2 LOL!

so WBF i hope you know of some good thrift stores clothing stores that have great sales that you can show me to, as im going to need at least a couple pairs of jeans once i get there lol.

otherwise...not much else going on right now...
thinking ill go in the pool soon.
