One for each week of lying on the phone, and one for the person who took a dump in the pool. Sorry you went through all that.
Ditto. And, here's an extra one for good measure. :smack

it just amazes me that theres people in the world that would do such a discusting thing. *shudder*

oh well, just means i have to work a little harder at the gym today lol, was looking forward to my swim though :(

im getting a little antsy today,
its officially 2 weeks today before were supposed to close, i realy want to hear back on the underwriter because i need ot get the flight booked for closing before the prices jump up again...they always seem to jump up about a week before the date...
ive decided im going to fly down the day before closing, and rent a car for the week, i can stay in a cheap motel or something that night then buy a cheap camp cot or air matress from walmart to sleep on at the house. ill stay for a week before heading home and packing, my uncle is comming out too, so that will give me some time with him before the move as well.

while im down there for closing i can put up a cheapy fence for the dogs and change the locks, so when i move all my stuff and critters down i dont have to worry about nything those first coupel of weeks other than getting settled in.

i just wanna know!
im demandng like that LOL.

plus itll give me more stuff to talk about rather than just complainign and talking about mundane stuff all the time lol

well my potentially quiet but packing to move next month or so ahs become hectic.

still no word form the mortgage broker *gah!*

but just found out my grandparents are comming almost 2 months beginning sept 4th, and my uncle is comming for a week on sept 14th.

this means everythings going to get a little hectic.

the bed i sleep on right now is my grandparents guest bed, so we have to move the bed out of my room (nan isnt very mobile so we set up the downstairs family room for them)
the couch form the family room and the recliner will be put in the bedroom area of my space and ill sleep on the pull out.

then is we get the closing set up ill be leaving probably on the 6th and will be away a week, comming back on the 13th, my uncle then arrives on the 14th, my uncle takes my brother bed so ill be moving off the pull out and onto the futon in my sisters room (the futon is comming with me when i move lol) my brother will be then taking the pull out in my room.
and then ill be spending the week while my uncle is here, packing, purging and hopefully having a tag sale for anythign worthy.
then ill be arranging the moving truck for the week after my uncle leaves giving me about 2 weeks to get everything together.

*deep breath*
itll be nice to see my grandparents and my uncle before moving, but still, way to add to a potentially crazy time.

well today prep for this hurricane/tropical storm heading our way for sunday starts.
gonna take the covers off the arbor/screen room type things so they dont get blown away/torn (we lost our last one to high winds), and make sure the frames are securly tied down, and probbaly fold up the lawn chairs and put them in the shed so they dont try and escape.

fun fun.

gonna do a grocery run either today or tomorrow, not realy because of the storm but because we do need milk and some other bits, so ill stock up on some snacky/none cook type stuff as well.

we dont usually get flooded out on our main route out of here, and typically we dont loos power either (not for long anyway) but were in the direct path where we are right now if it doesnt change paths before sunday so id rather be prepped just in case...
whihc simple means checking the propane tank for the grill and camp stoves and makeing sure the flashlights have working batteries lol.
no basment to worry about so no worries there.

bggest risk i think is theres some trees at the side of the driveway...there not on our property officially so we cant do anythign about them, but theres a few that are dead and dying, some good wind could give them a push so we'll be making sure the cars arnt in direct path of those lol.

this will be my first real "big" storm threat (were all about the new things this week huh?!)

mums going to be in a panic...she was a mess with the tornados while we were in nashville, i pretty much slept through everything lol, i knew where we were we were as safe as we could be and beyond that there was no point in panicing...but she stresses so we'll be dealing with that for a few days.
but i think other than the outside stuff, were fairly safe, we dont have any large windows on the prevailing wind side, were relitivly sheltered, most of the trees around us are healthy and deep rooted.
however if we do loose power we KNOW dad will be looking for a generator after this lol hes wanted one forever so this would be his excuse lol (depiste the fact that in 11 yrs of living here weve lost power for more than 2 minutes mabe 5 times..and even those only once did we loose power for more than 2 hours lol)

Batten down those hatches!! We're in storm prep mode up here too. My mom just stopped by and said the grocery stores are already nuts. I need to get a few things but will wait until later tonight or early tomorrow morning to go.

well i dont have any hatches to batten, but i did ductape the hatchets! last thing we want flying around :p

in other news...
just got word from the broker, he hasnt been asked for any additional info and hasnt yet been told no, these are aparently good signs and hes trying to push for closing on the 31st...*blink blink* i asked if theres any way we could do it on the 2nd or even better, the 5th (i know thats unlikley because of it being labor day) but trying to book a flight this close to the date and then arrange a ride to the airport would seriously suck, especially since right now i do NOT have a definitive answer, cant call me monday and have me there by weds, its just not doable, im over an hour away from my closest airport, not a chance of gettign a cab to the airport and theres no public transportation to the airport thats actually acessable to me...so i NEED to find someone to drive me there...

so yeah...we'll see.
this suddenly all became a little more real...and once i get that definitive YES were set for closing itll be sudden overdrive i think.

i think he just wants one because he likes gadgets and gizmos and power tools and such...lol
he used to say it was for the pellet stoves, but hes got backup batteries on all 3 (enough to give us a good week of running without any problems), now its "just in case"
i mean this is the man who hoards weed wackers and tools and anything with a battery LOL. he just likes things he can tinker with.

when i told him i realy would NEED a genny for my house if i get it he got all excited talking about kW's and stuff, it works out well because quite frankly, its all japanese to me...
i figure being in the midst of nowhere in mid tn would definatly give me enough warrent to get a genny for my place (i want to put in a root/storm celler one day too with its own genny)
and id like to put in solar eventually too...
this makes him a happy daddy because it means even though mum wont let him do it here (they couldnt afford to move their house off grid anyway, cts too expensive lol) hell get to help fiddle with my systems as they go in lol.

Wow, I thought everone in CT had a generate except us! It seems like it anyway out here in the East. We lose power a lot.
I hope the airport is open when you have to fly out!
