Super Self-Sufficient
ours is the same, wed have to fill everything via the filter on the fridge, our city water is TERRIBLE...
were going to refil the bottles we can via the frigde filter tomorrow, fill up the kiddy pool so weve got water for the chickens, and we've got bottled water as a just in case...1/2 a gal per person per day in pre-bottled water, both me and my dad have 64floz water bottles, plus weve got a bunch of 20oz bottles that could easily be refilled a few more times lol.
i MIGHT fil the bathtub in my bathroom just in case we doo loose power, so that ive got water for the dogs and macaw without having to break into the human supply. (or stealing it from my fishtanks lol.)
side note, thanks for the headsup on the usda rural loans taking longer...
ive never been through this process myself before so ive no idea what to expect under normal circumstances.
my broker told me "were going to find out asap, because ill be on their butt untill they tell me" aparently hes calling the underwirters office 4-5 times a day to ask if its ready yet lol.
my agent belives the underwriter is waiting on word form the appraiser, there was some stuff that had to be done before the loan could be approve and the water heaters the last thing, once the appraiser goes back out to check everything that needed to be done, she thinks we'll hear back that afternoon, which will hopefully be monday.
my broker is aparently VERY secure in the belif that there wont be any problems...so im hoping hes right, hes aparently done alot of the usda loans and says the only hiccup he could see is a reason for moving so i faxed him an official letter to whomever it may concern stating i was moving to tn as my parents are relocating (next year) and i currently rent from them, once they move away form CT i simply cannot afford to stay in this state on my current earnings and i have frineds in TN (i do have friends currently working in nashville and folks on this forum lol).
told him if they even hint at questioning feel free to send it to them.
he seemed happy with that so...
yeah.looks like itll be another weekend before i have an answer...
im REALY hoping the power doesnt go out though now because if my cellphone fails (ill be charging it up tomorrow and then turning it off to use as a just in case, but still it tends to be battery hungry) ill have no way of contacting my agent or the broker...
in good news, im nomming on mac and cheese and it is yummy! lol
