Gurney's
Burpee
Johnny's

uh.......that's all I can think of. I usually buy on Ebay if it's not carried locally :hu I may have some extras this year too if you're interested. I usually don't use a whole packet of some things.

well dinner was 100% WIN

i put the chicken thighs in a ziplock with about 2 tablespoons of garlic powder, a tablespoon of salt same of pepper and the juice of 1 lime. squeezed all the air out and put it in the fridge last night...
then today i put them in+
3 the cockpot at low for about 6 1/2 hours.

cooked up 1/2 a cup of basmati rice (if your going to do rice, do it right invest in basmati of jasmine rice)

i was initially going to do a sweet chilli sauce but didnt have the stuff...
so i winged it...

1/2 a can of condensed cream of mushroom soup, 1/2 cup water, 1/2 a teaspoon of lemon pepper seasoning, 1 tablespoon dried onion, 1 tablespoon garlic powder and mix well then heat...

it was DELICIOUS, the lemon pepper gave the soup sauce just enough zest to compliment the line in the chicken without being in your face, sooo making that again! got enough chicken for another meal plus some for sandwhiches
theres enough sauce for another meal, mabe 2 and enough rice for another 2-3 meals :D
im going to freeze 1/2 the rice for a chilli.

i LOVE basmati rice!

That lady was out of her mind. You don't get an attitude with somebody cause your sofa doesn't fit at their house. :tongue

She could have always knocked out a wall to make it fit. After all, it was only $200 and how dare she pass up a great offer like that? :hide

Southern Exposure Seed Exchange is a good one too...I like Baker Creek strictly for the eye candy, it's coffee table worthy!

i was looking at bakers creek last night and put together an "ooo i want it" list...about $200 later LOL...
soo many pretties and about 60 verieties of tomatoes id LOVE to try lol (most of them funky colored and stripey ones lol)

today was a good but long day.
i took my meal list and hit the grocery stores...
i now should have neough none preishables for a month of meals...i pickd everything from 15 bean soup mix (which im planning to do a mild sausage and bean creole dish (yup i said mild and creole in the same sentence lol) to lentils for lentil and chicken soup (i realized i prefer beans to veggies in soups and stews so hey why not go for it lol)
i got some "on sale" meat for the freezer,
a couple of loaves of the walmart "artican" bread at $1 a loaf for italian
they had 1 1/2 gal of chocolate milk left at 70 cents so that came home with me, best before date is jan 11ths so ive got plenty of time to drink that lol)

i have $25 now set aside from my monthly groery budget for the fresh stuff that tends to be a bi-weekly thing...(milk, fruit ect).

i also picked up all my none grocery items...refils for the frebreeze plug in in the livingroom, and the glade one in the guest room...a net for my fish tank and filter for the betta tank (betta now has 6 of the 14 (yup after taking out 6 i had 8 left...i only purchased 12 LOL!) glo-lights in with him...need some plants for his tank though.
picked up a heavy duty 100ft extension cord so i can use my powertools more than 4ft from the outlet lol.
kitty litter...i sweat i need to find a BAGGED clumping litter, im going to be collecting the plastic tubs if im not carefull, id much prefer to buy a bag and ref the plastic container...but they didnt have scoopable in large bagged form...how silly is that?!

i also managed to get all the things i needed to build 2 rabbit hutches and to enclose the underneath too.
i was origionally planning to do 4 hutches, but after crunching the numbers and the measurments i realized there was no way i was going to get the peiced id need in my car at the sies id need to make the initial design work...so i reworked it and have enough to do 2 hutches, and the "room" underneath.

ill make another 2 next month...which also helps the budget a bit. (and when i go to pick up my bunnies i wont be tempted to buy ore than i can realy affrod right now...i dont NEED 4 bunnies to start off with...ill go with a nice male a nice female and then next month after i build the second set i can always pick up a couple more later...
it cost $60 in lumber (including all the big cuts (ive got some finnihs cuts to make myself, but they split the sheets of lpy for me), hinges, hardware cloth and screws (im planning to screw it together so if i ever need to dismantle it in the future i can without destroying it :D).
another $6 in paint
and about $20 in hardware to lock/secure the hutches.
and $8 in liolium to cover the floor of the cage and a plastic edge guard for inside to keep urine from getting into the joints of the floor and back wall :D (same stuff they use in places like hospitals)
after taxes i ended up spending $100 on everythign i need to make 2 hutches and a small duck shelter. not bad, new premade hutches would have cost me about $120 a peice...and if id gone cages id be looking at about $150 for 2 after buying everythign id need to suspend them and shelter them from the elements...so i think this definaty worked out the better choice.

im excited. gonna get to building tomorrow. planning on finnishing the cuts i need pre-painting and pre-drilling everythign first...so thatll be tomrorows job (its cheap ply so it NEEDS to be painted in and out, i did buy "bunny safe" paint too and it was on clearance. the whoel thing is going to be red with white trim :D
then this weekend ill put everything together like a big ole 3d jigsaw puzzle...

hoping to be able to go pick up bunnies around the 18th...

in other news please keep the fingers crossd i MIGHT have a home for the male puppy...big family lots of doggy experience but no other dogs currently, older kids, big fenced yard but no plans to leave him outdoors alone and shes looking for a puppy she could train as a therapy dog which he has the absolute perfect personality for that kind of work.
shes big into positive reinforcment and clicker training and plans to feed grain free and practice limited vaccinations (somthing i 100% agree with) SQUEE!
this could be the perfect family, shes going to be talking wiht her husband tonight and we'll go from there.
if he goes home this upcomming week (he can leave as early as monday) then dixies going home that weekend, and squeker/london is going hom the 20th...that would be awesome! (i think the lady taking the hairless will be going with london, she wants to call her squeker (which is funny because thats my nickname for her lol) but her husband doesnt like it as a name, their other chinese crested is called paris...so i suggested sticking to the theme lol (plus im origioanlly from england lol)

i realy hope this family works out for little man, he deserves the kind of attention this family could happily and eaisly give him :D

so yeah.
the bad news is i didnt get home untill about 5:30 so no zumba for me tonight...i do have my money set aside though and will be going on tuesday instead.

and tonights dinner...im sooo doing lime chicken left overs, ive been thinking about it all day :D
i browned the gorund beef i got out for tonights dinner, but want the chicken so i browned it up to keep it goof for another day or so...lol

and ive gome to the desicion for my final stocking list for my tank.

8 neon tetra (im planning to add 4 more)
8 glo-lights (not sure how when i only bought 12 and took 6 out today lol)
6 brilliant rasbora
3 cherry barb (2 male 1 female) (planning on adding 1 male and 2 females more to balance out the chasing)
1 male guppy (planning on adding 1 male and 4 female)
1 gold veil angel (planning on adding at least 1 more (mabe 3 more)

and planning to add 6 corydora and 6 ottos
the ottos put it over the stocking rate but as long as i keep my water changes right i should be ok...

before the end of january im planning on adding the neons and barbs
then february ill add the guppies and angels (which will come from pets cove)
then march is corydora and otto time.

and on that note...
Its fooood time!

well today is step 1 of rabbit hutch building..
i have to get my plans together and do some math (got to take into account the thickness of the wood ect to make sure eveything fits together right)
then all the peices will get pre cut, pre drilled and pre-painted.
its a lovely day so everythign will have a chance to dry before it starts getting dark and damp on the overnight.

then tomorrow should just be a case of putting it all together like a puzzle.

lets keep these fingers crossed that this goes smoothly, ive never done a big project like this on my own before...i can visualize, but i usually have dad her to help me bring my mental pictures to real life...
but im pretty much just building boxes so i cant see this being crazy hard. lol
