keljonma, probably not, but they aren't getting the chance, either! I love her, attitude and all!

We've had a really really really lazy day today. DH hasn't felt good all day, the kids have spent most of the day playing out of doors. I did the normal feedings and waterings of the animals, we put up our gate for the pasture early this morning (only "work" we've really done today!), and I made a list of animals to go to the auction.

Monday's auction list so far looks like this:
3 rabbits (all does, 1 bred)
2 guineas (no sense getting adult guineas if they are going to run away!)
Runner Duck pair (I like the black runner, but the tufted one has to go, and they are a pair so...)
2 Cochin crossed hens that I got last summer that were supposed to be PURE cochins but look nothing like cochins!
and maybe a few of the mixed chicks I have running around out there. We'll see.

That's our day today in a nut shell. Now I'm off to do some cross stitching while DH watches his nascar race

Love that dog house.....my hubby wants to build a small pond in the backyard for ducks.....everyone is helping me convince him! It's great!

My friend Betty (the Fab Five were her hatches) keeps her young guineas penned. The next time you are up our way, we should get over there. She has a variety of chicken breeds, quineas, peafowl, geese (some Sebastapol), llamas, and greenhouses. I heard she just bought a huge cabinet incubator...

Hmmm and the next time I am up your way, I'll have my DH laid up in the hospital, so not able to stop me...I could fill my pockets with chicks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!




I've a disease, I tell ya! I'm afflicted with this awful chicken-itis....
