So just rolled out of bed at 10 am Don't ask me why I slept in so late, I honestly have NO CLUE!!!

Normally I'm up at the butt crack of dawn.

I am waiting on my morning coffee It's brewing.

Nephew announced to us last night that he's moving on Friday.. I am going to miss my little niece so much!! He's moving in with a friend who is a single mom to 2 boys, so she's excited about him bringing Nickol. But still










........although I am looking forward to having my house back to myself.

I called Barb at Penn Line. She said it will be about 2 weeks until the blueberries are ready for picking..... She said they are big and beautiful - and just starting to ripen.

Sooooooo Washington D.C. now knows that I'm really p'o'ed about Ernie's SSI/Disability claim, and how it's going NO WHERE.

It wasn't that I was intentionally trying to notify Washington D.C., it's just that I accidentally called the Senator's Washington office So after I sat on hold for 10 minutes, and then gave the guy on the other end a raving lunatic's rampage on what's wrong with the system, how the system has failed my husband, how we can't get an attorney to take his case because "it's more involved than they want to deal with" and how I am sick and tired of filing appeal after appeal after appeal....then he tells me I've called D.C. and I need to call the Ohio office

I was soooooo embarrassed, stumbled through an apology, and the guy on the other end chuckled, said it's perfectly fine (I mean, he just sat through a detailed description of Ernie's surgery and the 12 inch incision on his back and I'm sure the flames errupting from my tongue singed his hair so what else COULD he say?) and gave me the correct numbers to call. He then said, "If they don't help you, call me back!"

Soooo I called the Cleveland Ohio office and they listened to my slightly calmer narrative of what's going on with SSI/Disability, the lack of interest from any attorney to help us, etc. He asked about Ernie's condition so I gave him a detailed description. I also told him how Ernie really would love to work intstead, how it really irritates us to hear people complain about having to go to work when they should be thankful to even have a job....or even be thankful that they have the physical abililties to work. Especially considering Ernie would be happy if he could put on his own pants, socks, shoes, and turn to wipe his own butt without assistance!!!!!!!!

SOOOOO they are now taking Ernie's claim to the Federal Level. They already assigned someone from their office to Ernie's case, said they will be sending us some documentation to send back to them and a request for whatever evidence and/or other information we have that will help them understand what's going on.

WOOT....No more filing appeals!!!!!!!!
