Wow, 2 weeks is quick! Good luck I hope it all goes the way you want it to.

How far away did you say it is? Just down the road a bit right?

This one isn't just down the road. The first one was, but then the owner of that home told us he has other rental properties, one being 5 miles away, just outside of town...on a dead end road, yet it's the same street as the skate rink (did I fail to mention that?! LOL My kids have already asked to go roller skating!) There are only neighbors on the front side, not behind us, and one neighbor beyond the skate rink, which is down about 1/4 mile from us.

I'll get pictures soon. Our soon to be landlord is here now talking to Ernie. He just stopped to give us a rental application to fill out, which he said is just a formality. The place is definitely ours.

He's in agreement on us getting in within 2 weeks. He said he already went and mowed the grass, it just needs weedeated now.

Know what I'm most excited about? Hooking up my washer and dryer and being able to do laundry when I want!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our soon to be landlord said we could start building our pens and moving now if we want, but I don't feel right doing that, one we've signed nothing, and 2, I've nothing in writing, and 3, I just want to get through Monday first!

First thing I'm doing after we are all moved in is trying out the shower

Hmm, chicks in the house. We just had the town property assessor show up for our 10 year inspection and I went into a panic because there's a quail in a cockatiel cage in my computer room! (He didn't have to go in to the rooms, just count them. Phew!)
