QA glad you are at peace. That means more than anything else and that peacefulness will be conveyed to whomever comes to your house. They will see that you are not nervous and comfortable in your surroundings.

In reading your journal and Bees thread about how WE handle these things I have come to realize that there is just no boundaries for some people and also no measures to which some will not go to in order to inflect pain, suffering and misery on others.

I am totally amazed by some of the stories.

:hugs I am just catching up on your journal! WOW!! :hugs If I knew that it was the in laws that did turn me in I would NEVER speak to them again! I would cut off all ties to them...even if they did live next door.

I have had DCF called on me twice...both times by my sister. Two weeks before court dates. I was the one taking care of HER kids!!! Three of them for two years! And she had the nerve to turn me in!! I guess she did not realize if they got taken away from me that they would go to foster care!!! :smack I had to do face to face once a month visits with a SW for two years because I had my sister's kids. Her baby nearly died in her care but she never had to do visits like that once she got them back!

It was 4 years ago this past June that she got her kids back. I think I have seen and talk to her like three times. Just not much to say!

:hugs I will be praying for you and your family!

First congratulations on your anniversary! :weee

Not many people these days make it that long.

Next ... doesn't EVERYBODY keep chicks in their house? Oh that is right ... free said WE are not normal ... whatever THAT is.

A friend of mine had his EX turn him in to DFS for physically abusing his son, who had a broken arm. She looked MIGHTY stupid when the court day came and she found out that the boy broke his arm while he was doing group play therapy at the councilor's office (that he had been sent to to cope with his mother's attacks on his dad)!

Relatives you certainly don't get to pick them.

Just remember if it wasn't for them you would not have the GREAT hubby that you do, so at least once in their lives they did SOMETHING good for you.

HAHA you don't know how true that statement is, because if it wasn't for the BIL from you know where, I'd have never MET Ernie! It was Ernie's brother who introduced us!

I got Katie's test scores today! She scored above average on everything!! :D

Wow Aly you have had a crazy week and many hurdles to jump. You are in my thoughts. I too wish I could move and leave all of "them" behind. But for some reason I think that would not end it.

I feel standing up strong and facing the battle head on may be best. I have put my foot down and kept my children from my in laws for the past two weeks. They are starting to understand just how angry I am. I know our situations are not the same but I can totally relate.

Happy anniversary as well!!! :hugs

I sold 3 sets of hatching eggs yesterday! I sold some BLRW eggs, plus 2 orders for Buff Brahma Bantam eggs!!

Last night we went to my parents new cabin with the kids for a cookout. My brother turned 14 yesterday. We took a birthday cake out, had hot dogs and pasta salad. It was nice.

We left before cake, though, as we aren't too comfortable with leaving the house unattended for too long.

I'm ready to get some boxes and start packing. Our soon to be landlord is already getting the lease drawn up for us to sign. The goal is to be moved into the new house in 2 weeks...that's not including moving the chickens, etc.

Wow, 2 weeks is quick! Good luck I hope it all goes the way you want it to.

How far away did you say it is? Just down the road a bit right?
