Now there's Eleanor, Martha, and Lady Bird. Here's Jackie, Betty and Mary. Patsy and Pat, Rachel and Abbie, Frances, Hannah, Dolley and Lou. And Sammy too.

Something I failed to mention in my journal ramblings....
My parents are moving. They built themselves a new home on some other property they own, and are moving in the next few weeks.
My mom is not taking her existing coops with her, because she has a new coop already standing at the new property. So she said I can remove her existing coops and take them!
Now, the one coop is in pretty bad shape, so only the 2x4's will be salvageable from it. The other coop is identical to my red 8x8 coop, so we'll be using it to expand my existing 8x8 coop!
Don't know if ya'll remember or not, but earlier in my journal I had posted coop plans, how I intended to build out on my coop and divide it off into 2 rooms..One room for brooding newly hatched chicks and another room for either older chicks or to separate out another breed.
I'm so excited! We plan to put flooring down before we attach her coop. We also plan to spray mom's coop down with a bleach solution to kill off any possible bacterias, etc. We'll also be running electric out to the side that I plan to brood chicks in, and I'll have an area inside for feed bins, etc.
It will be a few weeks before we get to actually start the tear down, so I'm probably looking at September before this project is done.
Still, I'm super excited!
