Second turkey poult has hatched, with another zipping, and three more pipped!!!!!!!

Thank you, Dear Lord, for blessing Gwens eggs and allowing them to still hatch inspite of losing their mom!

I entered a contest on BYC to win a $25 McMurray gift certificate. We were allowed to send in two entries each. I just sent in my second. In the contest, you had to guess the breeds of some chickens. I'm not sure I got them right, but I did my best....the person who has the most correct wins. We had to guess gender, too.

I know that I got a few of them right, but I still have 30 minutes to the close of the contest and the wait is KILLING me....and the winner probably won't be announced until TOMORROW!!!!

Oh well, new babies hatching to keep me occupied I guess!!

I am hoping to order some broiler babies before to long. I have to content myself with those. But I used to have a whole bunch of show quality cochin bantams! I had white, black, buff, mottled, and a few red and partridge.
