I second the storage space! I'm full, yet again! I'm going to use photobucket instead.

What are those cute little browny orangey ones at the bottom?
Those are Bantam Buff Cochins :D aren't they cute????

I'm trying really hard to resist keeping pairs of each different color of the cochin chicks! The top pic of Cochin bantams I think might be Birchen or Mottled...at any rate, I'm keeping the three of them

QA, you are so lucky to have a rot resistent species of tree to make posts from. Around here, I have no choice but to buy pressure treated posts if I want something that will last more than 5 years.

Sheri, that is so true! We're the only ones around, though, who are going out and cutting locusts posts. The rest of the local farmers are buying the treated posts and using them. We had someone suggest to us that we save ourselves some work and go buy the treated posts. Ernie said, "No, because I don't want to have to replace posts in 4-6 years." They don't believe us when we tell them that the locusts posts he put in up at FIL's have been there 20 years.

It's a lot of work right now, but it's less work in the long run.

That's true, the locust fence posts around our old farm are probably going on at least 20 years.
