Our daughter came home last night and NEEDED jeggings, I am like what the hell (yep, I said hell :hide ) are jeggings? huge sigh on her part "they are jean material leggings and everyone has them" I told her the skinny jeans she had to have were going to have to be good enough, unless she wanted to spend her own money, she decided they weren't that important
Those days of fitting in are hard, I am with you on this one, if it's not inappropriate I will do my best to accommodate within reason :hugs

I don't envy you with the daughters. So much out there is questionable as far as appropriateness!! DS has been in uniforms for school for the past two years, right down to the required black sneakers.

My husband thinks I'm a geek.

My boys looked at me like I was nutters.

The chickens are now whispering about the "crazy lady in the house" behind my back. The turkey's were laughing at me. And the geese just shook their heads in disgust.

sigh.
:hugs Don't worry too much....it's only hormones runamuck. If ya think preggers is bad.....just wait until they work in reverse, as in hot flashes, mood swings, crankiness, etc. You know, the big CHANGE....That's when they really start looking at you as if you had 3 revolving heads with horns to boot! :gig

I have accomplished almost nothing today. I've no go get up and go.

Two loads of laundry done, third is in. Basket of towels waiting for me to fold them.

Organized the kids' books onto their shelf.

Have supper already cooked and keeping warm on the stove when the kids get home.

And that's pretty much my whole day.

Oh and I let the chickens out!

You're so cute....my 4 yr old is already doing that! I have given up and just let her pick out whatever she wants to wear as long as it is weather appropriate and nothing is exposed  She went out of house in a tank top, leggings, frilly dress up skirt and snow boots the other day....I grabbed a pair of flip flops cause I knew she was gonna shed the boots but everyone commented on how cute she was so I am just rolling with it. Mine aren't in school though so it isn't quite as bad.

Don't feel bad...mothers of daughters all go through it! :hugs

I woke up at 3:30 am this morning, feeling crampy - like that time of the month crampy - and forgot that I was pregnant. Was thinking I need to go put on the appropriate uh stuff so I wouldn't make a mess in the bed.

:hide

Went potty, after I realized duh I'm pregnant. lol Drank some water, scratch that - drank a lot of water - posted on FB, and then went back to bed. Slept until the alarm went off at 7 am and felt some dull cramping, but nothing like it was at 3:30 am.

Fine now.

My Aunt (mom's sister) says she felt the same way for a week before she had my cousin. (I'm happy to go in a week!!)

Today is the first day of week 37. I am still holding to my convictions that I am NOT going to make it to September 19 - and I told my Dr. that, too.

Got baby boy's headstart orientation out of the way. He starts on Tuesday. YAY.

Not sure what I'm going to do today. E has promised to get my suitcase down for me so I can pack it. That's all I have on my to-do list for now.

When I started with that crampy feeling I delivered both my kids within 24 hours.

Looks like we are now officially on baby watch!!! :caf

Take it easy...unless you are really ready to go and then go walk some laps :p
