:weee

yes times are tough when a bunch of things hit at once!! I know!

so glad his job is doing well now!!!!!
Tony still on rotational layoff....who knows, maybe end of May now or into June....but doing well, so that is good! His company is not struggling thank goodness, they are definitely getting orders and such and I think it shouldn't be long before "normal" returns.

Sun would be nice, but at least it stopped raining! (Literally - and figuratively) :)

Reinbeau, I've been thinking a lot about you lately. I'm SO glad you got good news and congrats on hubby's new job, too. Happy days are sure to be yours. God Bless.

Thank you, Sheri, I hope things look way up for you, too! :hugs

Rain, rain, rain, the sun has peeked out a couple of times today, the road has actually dried, but it's going to rain again. I have so much to do out there but it's way too wet now to do much of anything. I should clean but I hate housecleaning - so I'll wander outside and see what's coming up. Hubby has to feed the bees, and just check on them generally, hopefully between the raindrops he'll be able to get that done!

I had a little pain on a rib, right at my bra line. I thought it was a bug bite. It got worse and worse, until I couldn't stand the pain, and finally went to the doctor. I've got the shingles. OMG, they are painful! My immune system is down, stress has eaten it away. Over 50, compromised immune system, stress and a traumatic event brought them out. I hope they go away soon! Keflex, Valtrex and Prednisone are my friends for the moment

Ugh! One of my friends had a severe case of shingles a few years back, I remember how miserable she was at the time.

It seemed to help my friend's mental health to take control by doing whatever she could to improve her immune system. She up'd her intake of antioxidant foods, turmeric, garlic, yogurt and ginger. She said the hardest was keeping up with her yoga routine, but she really tried to do mini-yoga movements during the day.

Hope you see an improvement soon, Reinbeau!
