Every batch of canned venison was made different. I think I have hit on a winner with the only jar of this recipe (I made it up lol). MMMMMM, everone who has ate it cannot taste the gaminess.


It really doesnt matter if they like it or not, I am the one who has to eat it. AND I LOVE IT.

AND to top it all off, I just got off the phone with my daughter....it seems her fiancee (hubby) and FIL had all the money they had stolen last night. They were sleeping in a condo type (hotel owns)building that the company is putting them up in til they find a house to rent. Anyway, this person came in, in the middle of the night, with a key......opened the door and took all the money while they were sleeping. I am just disgusted.

My ROO is sick. I am going to bring him in and dose him with antibiotic, I hope it helps.
I am off today at onethirty free at last, yes free at last. I will be off till monday.
I am going home, adding more straw in coop as per PAC. Raking up leaves in run.
Making home made white bread (about 8 loaves)
Making apple pie
Making lemon pie (dont like tasteless meringue)
Blowing more eggs out
Washing inside of eggs, when dry I am going to put shellac inside and swish it around to coat it and make it stronger
Oh geez, and other stuff, I better stop 'fore I get tired,

I feel better today. still moving slow but the head is unclogging. would you believe Nicole is getting worse again...her meds did not knock out the crud. UGH. I guess I need to make her another appt. now and see what they can give her. always something!


gotta go hang out laundry. cold but sunny so that means just a tad of dryer time to warm them up after they come off the line..LOL

What are you doing with the eggs that you are working on? is this a craft project thingy?

FC, have you fed her lots of home made chicken noodle soup? And what about vixing her up? Dont forget to put the sock around her neck....Did you do all this stuff? Sleep is really good for them when they are sick....so some nyquil would take care of that .
I am blowing the eggs and decorating them to give away for christmas. They are going to look awesome.

did do the Vicks on her chest and that helped open her nose up some. She is getting ready for a nap now. She is so tired her eyeballs are hanging out of her head...being a little sick don't slow her down.

She went with Daddy to the barn. We transferred a young bull into the heifer pasture, and 2 heifers we took to grandma's house cause she wants something to eat up the pasture that is empty..LOL---Nicole was the wrangler...LOL.

As a matter of fact with me not feeling good, we have been eating very light. I have given her alot of chick noodle soup over the last 2 weeks..HA HA...she loves the stuff!

Her being sick and me being sick are so different. I work all the time, drag down, etc....she is sick, can rest, relaxes, plays...hmmmm...maybe that is why she seems so much better than me..HA HA HA


wow, cool on the eggs. Do you treat them as ornaments and put them on hangers? Or are the decorated more for everyday display? Are you an artist??

FC, kids are amazing. Only children have the ability to play....polay just for the sake of playing. They also have they ability to drop into a sound sleep.......for 1-2 hours and wake up refreshed. As we grow up, we lose that ability..and we suffer for it. In sleep, we can heal our selves. Yet we do not spend the time we need sleeping TO heal ourselves. Always something to do.

No I do not consider myself an artist, I am a dabbler.

FC - I don't know what it is with this particular crud that is going around. It seems to want to stay forever. I can't seem to shake it completely either. Now I have another sinus infection. But the good news is I have been sick so long I am starting to get use to it. Sounds like you are too. I guess with the way it hangs on we might as well learn to live with it for a while. I have been fussing at you about going to the Dr and getting some rest. Well, I went to the Dr. Took off work, got rest, and its still here. I am thinking about giving it some cutesy name, and putting it in my will, since I am apparently stuck with it.
