I want all those eggs. My gosh those are beautiful.

The red one in the first photo - far right. Do you have a closeup?

Now I have to start blowing and decorating eggs. Can you see the green envy under all the red splotches.

Thank you! We got one more duck egg today...but I am going to wait until I see what my dad can get before I going doing up any more.
Thank you for the kind words for DS. We cooked the turkey up Friday since we went to families houses and did not have any leftovers. The kiddos pretty much finished it off today for lunch!

Your red one is my favorite one too!! Your eggs are fantastic!!
LOL!! I too LOVE sparkly stuff!!
I am so excited that I have these for my gift exchange for next Friday now. I was invited to a tea at my friend's house who is teaching me how to sew and we have to bring a homemade gift to exchange. I am sure no one else will have anything like this!! I think with the glitter they will look positively eye catching on a Christmas tree when it is lit up!!

I can't wait to see pictures of your deer hide!! What are you doing with the hide?

 I told my hubby that we were going to have to start picking up road kill for the brains. Dawn of the dead comes to mind, BRAINS BRAINS.
I will use this for a lap rug...next one will be a dress, then a hat, then pants, then gloves (mittens) you get the point. He said to see how these turn out. lol
I will be starting a thread in the hunting topic. To graphic for the journal.

After I read your post about the deer hide I told my 13 yo that if he gets a rabbit he has to have the neighbor show him how to tan the hide and I will make him a pair of wool felted mittens with the fur for a cuff!
The neighbor has been promising to take him rabbit hunting for the last couple of weeks. My DH does NOT hunt at all!! And I am not really able to take 13 yo out to rabbit hunt right now.
I would love to get some black and white fuzzy bunny hides to make stuff out of for DD...a muff, hat, boot tops....but DH would probably have a cow if I told him I wanted to start raising rabbits...and let them die of natural causes of course and then get the hides. And 13 yo's 'girlfriend' would not be very happy if we did that either because she is an absolute bunny lover!! I think she has like 10 of them and they are all pets!
