Personally, I like that as well. :idunno
Can you space the Dun Egan or DunEgan if you are concerned about how it might appear as "dungeon" at first? (I didn't see that ;) )

I can't believe you all like Dizzy Dog Farms....that was supposed to make y'all laugh!

My husband is NOT dizzy so that would make it just my farm, but I'll tell him that name was popular! AL my Hubby keeps telling me, "How do you get Dungeon from Dunegan?" so he will like your comment.
I know how it is though....sometimes the brain sees the more common word. We had a local candidate in the election last November whose name was Golik. Another candidate was Boger. So for the life of me when I saw their signs side-by-side, it looked like I was reading "GoLick Buger" .....:gig I guess it would be a really rotten pun to say that it left a bad taste in my mouth? :hide

Dizzy Dog Farm....anyone who has ever owned a dog smiles at the memory of a favorite pooch spinning in excitement and joy. I think that is why the name appeals to me....it makes me smile with fond memories, old and current. A name that makes people feel good inside is good for business. And it is a name you can take with you if you ever move. The more I think about it the more I like it....If you don't take it, I am tempted to rename our place!

Well I did want to say something funny....and I wanted the farm name to be whimsical....I'll have to try that one on Hubby.

You are right that I should pick a name I could take with me.....perhaps you are remembering that the power company may annex our land (we won't even know whether or not until 2012). I'm sure our next home would NOT be on Dunegan mountain should that happen.

I would hope it would bring to mind how dogs run in circles when they are happy and not that the farm wife has dizzy spells!

He loves it! It is official. No one seems to be using that name either. :weee

Thanks for your help everyone, we are Dizzy Dog Farm. Now I need my artist son to work on this idea. He tweeks websites for a living, I think I can trust him to make ours. He says I should do it like a blog, but I'll have to get better about uploading pictures!
