poor guy, and poor you! i know how stressfull it can be.
might be worth investing in a cool mat for him too cooling rom above and below would get his temp down if heat is spiking and causing it.
if this continues for more than 2 weeks id be getting him in for a blood test, low calcium and high or low pottassium can both cause seiure disorders, id also get him tested for tick bourne illnesses, and id check the liver and kidneys too (ive hears seizure disorders can be quite common with kidney issues.
sounds like your doing a good job to keep them under control which definatly suggests this is a systematic responce to something going on rather than epilepsy itslelf (my expereince has been that true epileptic seizures cant be "stopped" however other forms of seizures can be stopped or lessend by cool, dark ect)
My brother in law should find out today, I hope, if the man in question will sell his 20 acres with house--another old fixer upper, but on the same road as BIL. Please keep us in prayers as it is being very difficult to be patient after 9 months!
Otherwise, just regular stuff. Dog washing day yesterday. Breakfast burrito filling making day today. Have Stuffed bell peppers in the oven for dinner and made a carrot cake with homemade icing. I made the cake by combining a mix with a large can of crushed pineapple (undrained). That's it. Just stuffed it in the oven!
Thanks you all! No news yet but we got a little pro active today! Went to the bank and asked if they had any repossessed manufactured homes. Yep one. Looks good outside, needs some work like floors inside. DH will see if there is any news tomorrow and mention it to BIL if warranted. Much bigger than the cabins he was talking about.
Well, it's a week later and BIL nixed the mobile home idea. Not built well enough. Still waiting to see what happens but this is supposed to be the week for a final answer on two options.
I don't journal every day as it is mostly the same stuff over and over. I did start some ACV this week and this morning I made an apron out of an old T-shirt.
We've been having rain again so it is like a swamp here in the park. Mosquitos and all! Apparently when the management relocated the sick possum, they did not take him far and he was back today walking circles in our yard. I think they took him for "a ride" today! Drives the dogs crazy!
I was gaining weight being gluten free so I stopped that a few days ago and have already lost 3 pounds! Yay! When I can have bread, I don't eat as much I guess.
Oh, and I made a sewing machine cover that works but doesn't look like much. Also altered a blouse that was too big and gave it a more flattering hemline.
That's it for this week. I haven't been out to the ranch for a couple of weeks now. Hopefully soon, something will break! (not me)
Well I have experienced first hand lately that no matter how bad it seems to stink at the time and how hard it is to be patient...waiting is a blessing!! I hope you all get situated soon, but I hope it works out to be the right decision even if it takes a smidgen longer
I love the apron...must make me one of those I can think of soooooooooo many uses for one, but haven't gotten around to making one yet :/
