The truck was under 1/4 of a tank, so I went and filled it up yesterday I was a very honest person too. The cashier tried to give me $45 in change, when I had paid the exact amount. I actually had to argue with the guy, to get him to double check and find his mistake!! Who would've thought being honest would involve an argument?! 
I have been feeling very 'cooky' lately. I hit on a great Amish bread recipe that is perfect for DS#2 and I (sorry WBF, when he saw the brown in the bread, he wouldn't eat it ). This recipe makes two loaves, but they tell you that, if you don't need both, put one - in the greased pan- in the freezer. Once frozen, pop it out, wrap it, and when you need the other loaf you just take it out, plop it in a greased pan, cover and let rise. We had grilled cheese for dinner last night 
I also made crock pot granola last night. So easy and absolutely delicious! I stuck it in the dehydrator after it was 'done' and let it run overnight on the lowest setting. This morning, I took it out, let it cool, filled some mason jars, then vacuum sealed them (after eating a nice big bowl! ). I love granola! Plus, I had everything on hand, and it was WAY cheaper than store bought!

Well, maybe I should've waited on the celebration. Dr.'s office called. I was told it would be two weeks before I heard back about my mammogram, so I sure didn't expect today's call to be about that (just had it done on Monday). They are asking me to come in for something called (I think - I began to panic) an 'comprehensive mammogram' and an 'intensive sonogram'. Apparently, they found something and want 'a better look'. She said it appeared to be 'of a size that was still very manageable', whatever that means. I suppose it's fear mixed with over-reaction on my part, but now I can't quit crying. But, they have improved the treatment of breast cancer, right? People survive that every day. I mean, when they were talking cervical cancer, all I could think of is Gilda Radner. She was rich, had excellent care, and still died. So getting the all clear from that was a HUGE relief. But breast cancer is beatable. And I don't even know if it IS yet, so I should just calm down and quit blubbering, right? Right.

I understand the fear and uncertainty. Been through cancer myself. But, there is no sense in getting yourself all worked up. It may not even be cancer! I've known 2 women who had the same sort of experience and it turned out to be nothing. I can't remember what they called what was found, but it was NOT cancer. Hang in there! ETA: Made a quick phone call... One had a fibroadenoma, the other had a cyst. Both women were in their mid-40's at the time.

I am usually pretty optimistic about this stuff, but they picked a bad week to dump this on me (Sunday is the anniversary of DS#1's accident, so I am pretty weepy around this time anyways
) I will hope for a cyst, because I can't even pronounce the other!

Oh honey it could be a cyst! My mother had a cyst on her lung...even the dang biopsy was incorrectly read and she went through lung surgery to have it removed! my aunt, had stage 4 breast cancer, and has been clear for 5 years now. She's doing great, and i took her to all her treatments. She did really well. But again....it could be NOTHING like it was with my mom Don't worry until you know for sure, and don't even worry then! Breast cancer has a HUGE survival rate these days anyway. I know the "C" word is scary, but hang in there sis

I know you guys are right. I need to stop spazzing out and switch back to my wait and see attitude. I just freaked out for a bit. Sucks to get that news without my rock (DH) here to lean on I guess.
Think I'll go hang out with Ice Cream for a bit. The stupid uncontrollable crying is upsetting the kid
