Yes, I was going to ask if you were going to change her name! Poor Donki..
I fits, what can I say? She answers to it too. So Donki she stays. White Chocolate, however, I had no trouble changing to Daisy.

Dorian is a great name!

I don't know what defines a name as goaty, but this year's girls that we're keeping are named Shalene, Marichka, Zarela, and Morgandy. :p

You don't want to know what names I had picked out for bucks!
BB when you walk out tot the field do you call your goats "here Shalene, Marichka, Zarela, and Morgandy". That sure is a mouthful!!!

:p

That's how we decided on our children's names....I yelled them. If I didn't sound like an idiot or trip over my tongue screaming it then it was a winner.

Oh, it's fine, I can keep them straight.

Before we had to say "Libby, Lilly, Lolli (LolliPop [Poppy]), Molly, and Missy. Can't tell you how many times I called the wrong goat the wrong name.

I guess I like unique names. Better than continuing to name the goats after dead relatives.. Nota, Rob, Libby, Cliff, Ernie, etc.

any update this morning?

and funny about the names.... ha! i thought i was the only one that yelled the names first!

one of the mini's we got (Little Nibbles) was originally named "Shiitake" - you know, like the mushroom...(all her sibs were mushroom names - Morel, etc).

anyway - we had to change that right quick. the LAST thing my hubby wanted was me standing out there yelling "shiiiiiiiiiiiiit-ake"! so now she is Nibbles.
