I haven't even posted about chapter 1! I've been having vertigo attacks lately, and just haven't felt like posting. :(

I love this passage.....

3We know that we have come to know him if we obey his commands. 4The man who says, I know him, but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5But if anyone obeys his word, Gods love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in him: 6Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did.

It is not enough to believe, we have to live it, every day, every hour.

Bee, thanks for posting the text :)

Well lets get those spiritual minds thinking!!

Question: Has God ever physically thru nature or anything touched you?

I have a story........

One day it was really rainy and windy. I was upset and something told me to look to the orchard and then this wind blew thru and the verse in Revelations ran thru my mind "and he will wipe every tear from every face". Then after a couple of seconds I was dry................ :)

In Jr High school, our church youth group when to a youth rally at the Cedar Point Amusement Park. The fellowship meeting was in a hall above the arcade. The hall opened out onto several balconies which in turn were over the entrances to the arcade.

The Fellowship rally was over, and a few of us guys went down to spent the last 15 minutes in the arcade before we had to meet at the spot to get ready to leave. I was bored, so I was standing outside the arcade under a balcony soaking in the last of the day's sunshine. I had my back to the arcade and I felt like someone "bumped" into my back, causing me to to stumble out into the midway. I turned around to look to see who pushed me, seeing no one, then hearing the crack of timbers as the balcony collapsed right onto where I had been standing. About 20 kids tumbled off of the balcony, and thankfull no one was hurt. I've never really mentioned it publicly until now....

That is pretty cool guys! I can't recall any experiences like that being physically touched, but circumstances rearranged...I have been assured several times. The last being 2 years ago. I was headed to serve for a local fellowship and needed to stop and get gas. I pulled in and the pumps weren't working so I went in to prepay figuring that was the issue...the pumps were broken but expected to be back up and functioning any minute. It took about 5 but I was patient. I got my fuel and left. As I came up to the levy going into the town where I was supposed to serve I came up on a wreck. The cops had just pulled onto the scene from over the bridge about 5 miles away. The wreck had happened right about the time I was getting held up. That accident killed several people. One deceased lady was being cut out of her SUV as we detoured around through a parking lot. That really shook me up, but comforted me at the same time. I pulled over for a few minutes and prayed for the families and the survivors who were pretty badly injured. It had been a head on collision where the vehicle the deceased driver was in came over into the lane that would have been mine and smashed into another SUV.
