I love this story and am not a bit surprised or skeptical about it. I can't wait to get there!!!!

You know what I find most frustrating? Is when I tell folks how badly I want to go there and how much I can't wait and they act like I've said something bad.

They invariably act like wishing for Heaven is a bad thing when you are young and healthy. Why do you all think that is? Shouldn't we yearn for God's Kingdom and the fellowship we will have there?

Why in the world would anyone want to stay here when they could have and be so much more than we can have and be here on Earth?

I agree about wanting to go to heaven. We are all supposed to want to be with him. But I am always skeptical about anything that has to do with seeing deceased loved ones. :hide I am probably going into dangerous waters here, but I believe satan can come as an angel of light. I am going to tell an ABSOLUTELY TRUE story that happened to my neice. When she was about 6 she started talking to someone and that someone would tell her things that she shouldn't know or couldn't have known. She told her mother that God was talking to her. Her mother was freaked out at the stuff she knew and asked her what his name was. She asked his name the last time she saw him and came to tell her mother that he told her that his name was satan. This child almost never been to church and didn't know who the devil was. She didn't make up the story. Needless to say her mother started taking her to church and going more herself. Take it or leave it it is a true story. He has more tricks than we can comprehend to confuse us from the truth. Now I am not saying one way or the other about that little boy's story, but I get chills whenever I hear a story like that.

I'm sure Satan can use just such a thing to confuse people. I don't see him doing it in such a way that this boy and his family can write a book to glorify God and help people come to Christ....unless he did it and God turned it to His own ends.

There are a few instances in the Bible where people who are living have seen those who have gone before.

I think God's truth can win out over any trick of the devil, so I don't spend too much time speculating over the veracity of such stories.

As for this story...we know there is a Heaven, we know that all miscarried children will be inhabiting Heaven, we know that it is likely that Christians will be involved in the Battle of Armegeddon, we know that our ancestors that were Christians will be awaiting us in Heaven. I don't see anything to doubt about anything stated in that story except the fact that this little boy experienced it....which means nothing to me. I already knew all these things he stated about Heaven!

I liked the story. I drew a picture once of God's Face as big the Earth looking down on Earth.

They look like Mini-Rexes....we used to have a couple of those. Pretty, soft, and one can really sell the babies at Easter. Other than that, they aren't good for much, are they? :p
