Im glad your here Rebbetzin! I like the post it makes sense to me!
It is ok with me. I will be very busy until after the first week of Jan. We plan a trip to see my uncle who was diagnosed with stage four cancer a few weeks ago.BarredBuff said:Okay, Wannabefree, good luck with that deer. I have been thinking maybe we should adjourn on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, what does everyone else think?
I like that part Dace!Dace said:Thanks Rebbetzin.
I don't understand how people do not equate Faith with Trust......not a question just verbalizing my thoughts. Forgive me while I ramble for a minute.....
I think that when things turned around for us it was because finally we BOTH turned to God and just gave it up. We quit trying to be in control and finally trusted that God had a plan for us and we were on the wrong path.
I heard on the radio the other day a discussion about why you often see images of shepherds with a lamb on their shoulders. The speaker said that when a sheep would stray, the shepherd would break one of it's legs and then carry it around on his shoulders until the leg had healed. The point was that the sheep had to rely on the shepherd and that would create a bond between the sheep and the Shepard.....and the result is that the sheep would not stray again but would always stay close to the shepherd.
Given what my Hubby and I have been through in recent years, I would say that is what God did for us....He had to break us before we would see that we we're not the ones calling the shots, that there is a greater purpose to our lives.Sorry for the ramble it just seemed to fit in here
