heck I bought 4 new ones for my riding mower, darn things ain't cheap LOL

NC refund too forever. Fed deposited like 6 days after filing, NC took almost 1 month to deposit.....NC needs the money bad I think LOL

don't worry--it will come!
That's what I need. Tires for the riding mower. They are way bald. That mower is used for more than just lawns around here. I think dh googled them. Sears had a good deal. I'm going to keep looking.

:woot You'll do great with them. Just think how yummy they will taste!!! I couldn't believe the price of chicken at the grocery today. Almost gave me a heart attack until I went and looked at the beef. Then I really almost flipped.

Yeah I hear you there. Now I just need a cow in the yard. :p

My poor turkeys looked a bit overwhelmed. I wonder if I should separate them out?

Who know the Cornish x would fight each other to eat turkey poop.

They have not stopped eating yet. I filled an egg carton with chick grow. I wonder if it will all begone by morning?

All they do is eat, poop, and sleep. So yeah - it'll prob'ly be gone by morning.

Once they settle down into some SERIOUS eating they will leave the turkeys alone. Eat an egg carton full of food? Are you kidding me? Of COURSE they will  and probably two more if you would keep it full.

Eat. POOP. Sleep. It is what a meaty does. ;)

YAY! yep, they will empty out the feeder completely and continue to eat as long as you keep it full.

I finally got tired of the feeder and just put it in a shallow pan and then just threw it on the ground once they went outside.

Eat. Sleep. Poop. Repeat. pretty much the life of a meaty. Once they get bigger put the food and water on separate ends of their pen so they HAVE to walk around.

Thanks all. So is there any rhyme or rhythm t how much they should eat?? As to stay fed but not gorge themselves at this point? I remember you guys talking about the feeding schedule before. :idunno

My head is spinning right now.

DH is back on the lets get the He!! out of dodge kick. Today he wants to sell and move again.

Personally, I just let them eat until they start to feather up. As you reduce the heat start allowing them periods of darkness to let them rest. (I use a light timer) This stops them from eating (at least when it is dark).

When I get them out in the main coop or tractor I reduce the protein levels, which also slows them down a bit. ;)
