Hugs for you Gina :hugs

Try the meds. If they don't work like you and your kid feel they should you can always stop. At least the ADD meds are fast acting. Fast in your system and fast out. :)

Thanks FF, yes I think for now while ds is in such crucial time at school with learning just the basics it is more important to have him tuned in. I think as he gets older he will be able to manage himself in other ways.

Wow, It's been a crazy week.

As I type this my husband is at the most important job interview of his life, and mine for that matter.

We have decided that staying here in our home and making a go is our best bet. Keep the kids in their school and work to pay down our debt. While hopefully the real estate market will recover a bit and our home value will go up. Then in a year or so after completing a few improvement projects on the house the we will move. In a better situation with more control of our destiny. Blah Blah Blah...

But in the mean time we have also decided to take a break. The kids have two weeks off. So we are going use this time, hopefully, to regroup as a family travel a bit and see some of the US. We are heading to the Grand Canyon first then east to Missouri. As most of you who know me, already know my dh has family there. If the job offer does not work out Missouri is one of our options. So we would like to see it as to educate our selves about the area and community.

So we are kinda trying to accomplish two things. Take a break, vacation of sorts and see where we may end up if the job does not pan out. We made this decision about a week ago before dh had and interview. I think it was more out of desperation and feeling the local job market had nothing to offer us. Hopefully that will not be the case.

So dh got up at 4am to traveled 2 hours to the north to the corporate offices of this big company. They are looking to open an office in the San Diego market. Which my dh would probably open, establish and maybe even run. If not he would be a project manager under said management.

This is very different than the family owned company he is coming from. But that did not work out to well for us, so change may be good.

Anyways, I hope to hear from him soon. I am trying to keep busy and stay on task. One more cup of Joe should do the trick.

Wish us luck.

Well the verdict is in. He got the job. :clap He signed the offer this morning. He will not be running the office but a project manager. Not a bad position. Not as much income as we used to have but not bad either. We will manage.

The good thing is they told him he won't start for a couple of weeks. That actually is perfect. Gives us time off for spring break and dh time to recharge. I think tomorrow he will tell his old company he will not be back. I don't think they will miss him. It's just a matter of collecting all of the money they owe us.

So we are soon to be off and exploring the great wide world. We should have great weather this next week. I hope. :fl I have been noticing what hits us usually takes about 3 to 4 days to hit the mid west. We have sun now. So let's hope it stays that way for about a week.

First stop the Grand Canyon and then east from there. I think we will make our second stop in Amarillo. I don't want to be in Oklahoma any longer than necessary. Then on to Missouri. We plan to see Branson and take the kids to Silver Dollar city. Then who knows what else. Maybe Denver and the Rockies on the way home.

Thank you all for your hopes and prayers. Now I hope the good luck continues for others.
