Thanks you guys. I think the time off will be good for me also. A break from the normal routine.

But while away and on the long drive I do plan to run the numbers. See how much debt I can get paid off and how quickly I can do it.

I still plan to be as SS as I can. I think my storage and savings is what got us through. Now I need to work on building them both up again.

On a happy note my fruit trees are all blooming. I have a peach covered in little peaches, my plum, apricot and nectarines all have flowers. I think I will be Pareto busy canning around the 4th of July.

My garden is going to suffer while I am gone. It is just not the same having someone water once a day. The seeds just need more attention than that. So I will probably re plant some stuff when I get home. It will only be the first week of April so I will be fine.

What great news and yes, a burden lifted for all of the family. Have a wonderful trip as you meander around the country.

I used to live in Amarillo; the youngest of my siblings was born there. This is back in the Strategic Air Command days of Amarillo AFB.

I am sorry Dacs I am not quite going as far as Illinois. Do they have a Pepper Tree there for you??? Or would it be an A&W?

We will be touring the little towns around Springfield for a bit though. Going to head to Silver Dollar City for some roller coaster action. Started my young ones early on that. My daughter was 40 inches at 2 1/2 so she was tall enough for Space Mountain at Disneyland. That was fun!!

Thanks Murphys the kiddos were a bit reluctant at first but they are warming up to the idea now. I think anything is better than school and home.
