I have heard Unkle Tom a talkin bout all uv the things that he wood like to do just one mor time. These are things that he done win he waz younger, but he jist kant do em no more so I jist decided to made this here list so I can alwayz come back here an remember them any time I want. Sum uv these items haz its own story, but Im not goin in 2 that here.

Unkle Tom says that he wished he cud -

Follow along behind his daddys plow an feel the nu terned earth on his bare feet.
Eat breakfist at his mammas table, an take in the smells uv her ketchen.
Go out 2 the hen house with his granma an help her get the eggs.
Eat so much watermelon at the 4th uv July picknik that he wood almost bust.
Put a live frog down Ester Silbies back.
Go on an all nite coon hunt again with his ol dog Lugar.
Newdel fish just one mor time in the deep parts uv Amble crick.
Win the log cuttin kompetition at the county fair.
Perpose to Ant Hattie again.
Read The Shepherd Uv The Hills book 4 the very first time.
Sing the old hims at chirch wile standin among them old friends who helped guide his path.

And mostly uf all Iv herd him say a lot uv times that he wished that he cud take Ant Hattie by the hand an climb Shermans Mounten jist one more time to watch the sun come up 2 wash the earth with its first lite uv day. He sayz that they wood stand there on top uv that old mounten, hand in hand, silently lookin over the hills, both a knowin that there is a creator, an they waz a standin jist a little bit closer 2 Him.

I have been workin and savin up soz I cud go see Hilda Lou an I finally got me enuff money 4 a bus ticket. I decided 2 rite 2 Hilda Lou an work out the details coz she wood half 2 pick me up at the station an such. I got me this here letter rote up an stopped by Brady Beermores tavern 2 see if he had a united States post office stamp. You mite member that Brady is the feller who almost got me in trouble with the fone company by havin me reverse the charges. Well, I axed Brady ifin I cud by a 44 sent stamp soz I cud mail a letter. Brady told me that I cud mail it 4 just 2 sents ifin I done it rite. He went on 2 say that I cud put a 2 sent stamp on the invelope, an they wood deliver it ifin there waz no return address. I jist told him I wood get back 2 him about the stamp, and I wint 2 see the Tallman.

Well, the Tallman xplained that it takes 44 sents to get a letter 2 its destination. Ifin I only put 2 sents on the invelope, then Hilda Lou wood have to pay 42 sents on her end. Now woodint that ruin everythin with me and Hilda Lou. That dern Brady! Anyhoz, Im sur glad that the Tallman told me how the Post office done business with there stamps an such coz it give me a fantabulious idea. I wint directly 2 the united States post Office in my town an did sum stamp buyin, an got that letter mailed. I sure wood like to see the look on Hilda Lous face win she is handed my letter, an along with it 44 sents. U see, I put me 2 stamps on that letter soz she wood get change.
