The rest of my Baker creek order is on its way.

Still have 900 to go :th
Where are you starting them?

In trays.
I used up what I had on hand that did not leak, and now we are waiting for Wally world to stock them.
I have a feeling I will be moving our bed, and adding shelves in front of the bedrooms windows too.

This packet, I just scattered the seed. I want to see how they come up.
If its not to bad, I will do the same with the rest.

We need enough onions for a full year for 12 people (3 households)

ETA Oh, and we are only planting about 1/3 of them here. The rest are going up near the Matanuska Glacier to where my BIL and SIL have a new spread.

thanks for the link - that "rich loamy" soil they show the final transplant into is nothing but a dream currently here in the clay fields, although I'm working on it.

Yep 73 :D The wasps ruined it for me though :( I was gonna take some of the stumps from where we cut the hickory tree down around for the goats to play on and the wasps were all over the place by that tree :( I didn't get to get a single piece of the trunk took around for the babies :hit
