I'm planning on getting the seed box out tomorrow afternoon and do a final review of what seeds I have and what seeds I ordered. I'll be ready. ;)

I stopped at out local Big Lots yesterday. I bought a seeding tray with plastic dome lid. I have a ton of those little peat pots. I am going to use a mix of commercial seed starting mix and some nice compost from the garden. Today I would like to start some tomatoes, bells, maybe pumpkins, squash ????

I don't know I just need to see how many little pots I have.

I put them all on my laundry room counter. There is a lot of sun and the room stays warm from laundry and a southern exposure. We'll see how it goes.

I have about 2 lbs of dried black beans that never got canned last fall. I just set about 6 of them to start soaking - I'm going to see if they are viable and will sprout. Hopefully they will, so I don't have to buy any more bean seed.

I am well into the growing season. :D But I have mustard and cress to start sprouting for greens, as well as other odds and ends. I just filled up a couple pots with seed starter, but haven't gotten that far with them. It's hot today. :sick
