Yesterday, transplanted about half the seedlings into larger containers since I don't see when the garden will be ready.

The kids, God love 'em, tried to help by doing some of it while I was out getting pizza for dinner, but didn't mark the different varieties of tomatoes I had started.

It looks to be a decent day today, so the plants are out on the picnic table soaking the up the sun this morning.

Tomorrow looks awesome, I may take the day off. :D

Things in the greenhouse are doing well. Planted some seeds into pots (pumpkins, squash and the like) and the next day the seeds are all dug up and eaten. Mice? Have to try again...little stinkers!:rant

Wow Dace pick those things. They look perfect. I usually keep a ziplock in the fridge with a damp paper towel in it. As I pick my handfuls they all go in the bag. When I have enough I use them for dinner.

I was out looking the other day and my beans were about 1 to 2 inches. I should check again, I know they grow fast.

Oh you should check the good will for a scale. Mine has them all the time. I have an old one that was my SIL. Not digital but works pretty good.

Got some of the lawn mowed, the flag pole base re-cemented, the little garden tilled, and 2/3 of the big garden tilled! That big green "bush is salsify. "Miss Adventure" is checking out my handiwork

Off to work on the boys baseball field before tonight's game!

All told so far, I've gotten about 1/2 pound of asparagus - enough to fill a quart canning jar.

Just nuked 8 or spears with a little butter. Yum

I planted 3 rows of okra, one and a half rows of Moo Cow Beans, and a row and a half of cucumbers. I will be setting out peppers tomorrow :D :weee

My little baby tomato needs to grow...I'm starving on just turnip greens. I did pull up a couple baby carrots today though and they were yummy! I have to thin that bed a bit more tomorrow. More baby carrot snacks for me :D

I found deer tracks in my garden this morning...nothing touched, yet anyways...but they best LEAVE :somad The woods side is fenced, so they need to stay out the yard :/ I'm putting out some deterrents tomorrow.
