Ok, no more teflon pans then!! :sick I am running them straight to goodwill (or should I just toss them?) so I won't be tempted!! I have a variety of cast iron pans, cornbread forms, tortilla pans etc. I have cast iron in every shape and form, I just need to use them more!

Thank you so much for the website "life without plastic" that is really neat! I bet we could find out a way to make that hemp made sandwhich bag ourselves!!

I need to check out my "ss" drinking bottles. Mine has a really neet "tea strainer" insert, so I hope it is not aluminum!!! :(

See how hard it is when you start to make the switch? Plastic is everywhere in the kitchen!!

Free, I like the 80-20 rule, that will make me not so crazy!

Oh, while I've been updating the kitchen, I made some cute valance curtains out of the sweetest chicken print!! I'll take photos!

One other thing that I didn't even think about was the plastic water dispencer I have in the fridge. I filled up all our beer bottles from it last night and FINALLY I noticed what I was doing!! HELLO SALLY!!!!

Free, what did you say you used to store water in the fridge? Was it vodka bottles? I hope CPS doesn't want to pay me a visit in the future! What would they do if they saw my daughter pour "water" from a vodka bottle and drink out of a beer bottle?!!

(My soup ladles are all plastic too...it is everywhere!)

ETA: can't spell worth a darn!

Yes, I have the big, cobalt blue Sky Vodka bottles! They are beautiful! DH loves to offer water to a guest!

I will juice a lemon or a lime, add 4 squirts of stevia, and fill it up with water. It is tart, but I like it! Oh, and a shot of vodka!

That was going to be my next question, what oil do you use to make oil cloth? Thanks for sharing! That looks really simple too. :D
