my new purchase. traded my old travel trailer for a 5th wheel.
hubby and I are thrilled. we have been wanting to upgrade to this for a long time. great bunk room for kiddo!
while the old wallet is way lighter now, it is ok. it is something we were saving to do and we went and did it.
come on camping trips. you know I can't wait.
hubby is in his glory. while I could have survived with our other camper easily, hubby wanted to go 5th so bad he could taste it lol, so why not?
other than that not much happening.
tons and tons of rain the last few days which we do need.
weather has been kinda chilly. waiting for those nice hot summer days now.
garden doing well. planted my cantaloupes and I am sure hoping they come out well. never had good luck with them but this year is the year..lol
off to get some stuff done. everyone have a great day.
I'd like something a lot smaller! Something more like this. http://www.lancecamper.com/truck-campers/825/#3 It would be plenty big enough for when I go camping w/the horses. I'd thought about a trailer w/LQ, but that's no good if I ever go camping w/out the horses.
Lance are nice truck campers. We owned an Elkhorn truck camper. truly that thing was nice. gave all the comforts one needs (along with a shower/toilet) which is fab and we pulled our boat. we had it for alot of years...then kiddo came along and we graded up to larger (and larger and larger LOL) now we are the RV type campers vs. our tent from long ago
there are some sweet horse/campers out there. Came close to getting one but we have so many state parks and places to ride so close to us that just a regular old horse trailer was enough. no need to camp really.
We have places that we camp overnight-in someone's field! Last time we did it, we never did get to ride. It was trying to rain when we left. I tried to tell them, but they wouldn't listen. And, I was in a tent in the pouring rain! No fun at all.
oh yea tents and rain are not fun. I got caught in a few scary T-storms in our tent long time ago. the hard cover campers beat tents when that weather is nasty.
