rain today and tomorrow 60% today (and yea it is starting to drizzle) and 90% tomorrow
crud
off to Mom and Dads to goof off at the lake. wish it was warm enough to swim and boat but sure not yet!
usually go on Sunday but we are going out to dinner tomorrow night with Tony's parents so today is best day to head to my parents.
Tony off to Raleigh with Big Jim. They are going to the Dixie Deer Classic.
got up 4:30, out by 5:30 and away they go. He gonna be tired when he gets back. Ah, but to look at all that hunting stuff and monster deer heads will thrill him LOL hope they have a great time!
He wanted us to go, I said forget it lol no interest in deer heads etc.lol

pouring cats and dogs outside
all day they say. ugh
going to BJs or to Aldis to find some deals. Not sure if BJs cause not in the mood to spend TONS of money today lol Aldis I can keep it under a $100 lol
going out to dinner tonight with Tony's parents
knee real bad. I know I did something bad to it so morning am calling Carolina Orthopedics and getting appt. swelling won't go down so I assume there is blood or fluid on the knee. stiff as hell...walking is hard. nothing worked that I tried to fix this lol so time for the professionals to kick in and fix me. Gotta get it done now cause I have alot of camping trips planned and I sure don't want to be crippled up for those!
off to start the usual day

So went to the ER last night for knee.
In and out --so fast, 2 hrs. only and new hospital down the road and very nice people.
3 xrays said "something bad in cartlidge" LOL they said to call this orthopedic dr. this morning. got pain pills with anti-inflammatory.
knee just swelled so bad it hurts alot. got leg brace thing and crutches. hell no on the crutches. I can't walk wtih them lol kill myself.
So calling dr. in a bit to get appt. gotta get this fixed now. driving me nuts, but I'll live
doing usual chores....etc.
nice today after the last 2 days of floods practically. ugh
so off to get the day rolling --everyone have a great Monday!

got orthopedic dr. on Thurs at 10:30
done vacuuming, cleaned the vacuum, worked with goats for a bit, 2 loads laundry done, made batch of soap and now off to put my knee up with ice....for a bit. time to relax...my work time is the morning!
then off I go again.

Sounds like you have an MRI in your future. Probably have a torn meniscus aka cartilage. Nothing a little laproscopic surgery won't fix.
Had it on both my knees after DW's horse kicked them at the same time. Down for 3 days. Bad time of year for knee surgery though. Of course winter is probably a worse time with the slipping thing.
Try to be a good girl to your knee after the surgery if that's what you need.
