LOL I hear you on borrowing a pool to swim and yes they are alot of work...I hate that work and if it wasn't for kiddo, I doubt I would have bought a new one...did it for her.

last one for me tho she goes off to college in 12 years then the pool is finished --wee

LOL I am a swimmer also
love it but for me, I want to travel...so animals and pool will be gone and I will travel to find my water to swim

I got her pup for her now also cause they live about 16 years...hopefully only 12 yrs for this one haha...I want it gone also when she leaves for college.....oh I can wish lol

well hit the store and got 12 bottles of sunscreen--buy one get one free.....which was great til I came home to put them up and what did I find...a bag of 8 bottles from last years score...lol

my butt is loaded with suncreen for the beach trips now......but I will take about 5 over to Moms at the lake for hot sunny days there.....ok enough darn suncreen ugh

cloudy day after big storm last night

found a dead bird in my car....ugh.....I left the windows open yesterday and got in it this morning to see white drops here and there...looked around...more drops and thought damn bird flew around in the car I guess...so gotta clean it and got back from the store, lifted my purse and under it on the front seat was a small bird LOL ICKY didn't even notice til it flipped up on the seat when I got my purse EWWW so he is in the garbage and I am out to clean up the inside of the car ugh

Nicole had a blast at her Kinder trip to Tweetsie.. she is super duper tired lol


off to get some stuff done


one priority is getting the pool area level, cleaned up and grass put in immediately...the mud, oh the red carolina clay is nasty so tha this first on the list to handle.

still filling up the pool...lordy that takes alot of water...lol...but over the 1/2 way point so getting there...should be filled by end of day or tomorrow at best


off to grocery. they have paper towels on sale and Tide detergent on sale (very low price which makes me happy) and I have a $1 off paper towels and $1 off Tide....so cheap cheap and I can get 6 each. Yup going to stock up.

coupons...hmm...in a way they are getting aggrevating...LOL....they do take up alot of time and it is annoying matching up sales to coupons and following expire dates etc.

but I went shopping the other day and saved $65 on a big order.
So again I say.....they are good but they are a pain. I know I am stocking up the pantry big time and I did buy a few 'new' items I never would have bought usually...so the family is getting some new tastes which they like mostly.

bird crap. it seems to be everywhere. the birds are giong nuts on my house, car, porch....everywhere is bird crap. honestly I am thinking of shooting them LOL (no only kidding) but geez, go away damn it---so happy I put that pool in a no tree zone and took down those big trees. I think I am going to take down a few more trees near the house. when it is cooler.

thinking about new windows across the front of the hosue this year. I replaced all windows around the sides and back with new thermal whatever windows lol....just have the front left to tackle. not sure if I want to spend my money this year or next....alot of money went out of my hands lately and I am thinking of holding off til next years tax refund. so just thinking about all the darn few jobs left to tackle and the house should be up to date on all of it .....

Congrats on the new pool! That should help keep the kiddo worn down this summer!

I love to swim and need to get back to it. I have the free use of our school districts Olympic in-ground, indoor pool whenever I want to swim, yet lazy me - I have gotten out of the habit. I really need to get back since it is so good for my arthritis.

I will be picturing you all suntanned and relaxed this summer.

I just love the water and the benefits to the old body --its easy on the joints and burns some calories...so win win plus being in a bathing suit all the time MAKES me stay slimmer now... lol...so the old diet of crap food is usually not happening for me...which is a good thing, keeps me on track!

Cloudy outside...not sure if sun is going to pop out later or not...had storms pass thru last night.

Grandma coming to take Nicole out to breakfast and then shopping.

Tony and I off to the RV store to get some replacemnt parts. Hail punched a hole thru the skylight. And want to check out the icemakers and such.....so everyone giong in different directins today

got to work on the fence, little rat dog keeps going thru the holes and taking walks by himself...not a good thing lol
BUT Tony is thinking of moving the pasture fence and I would hate to run wire etc. and then find out he is taking it all down lol so just a damn pain this fencing situatin right now.


not much happening. easy saturday hopefully.
