A LIGHTBULB finally went on and I figured out this coupon game.

but those extreme savers have to have the perfect store next to them, which I don't lol....our coupon policies are limited but it is OK cause I can do very well even tho I won't be doing $1000 for $1.44
:gig

trip this morning

total cost: $85.45

paid $22.55

TOTAL SAVINGS: $62.90

HOT DAMM

but that should have been about $8 I calculated but when I got there shelves were empty on some product.....so I switched to some other coupons whcih didn't give me as much, and then when I checked out I had to put 2 things back cause I had 6 and limit was 4...LOL...you know, the usual coupon troubles.

Tony loves those fancy razors...he shaves his head and looks like Mr. Clean....so a $12.99 Gillette Fusion razor just came out and with electronic and coupon and it on sale I got it for $1.99

geez...that is a great deal there on those stupid razors lol

AND GET THIS---I got $1.43 off for (drum roll) ----SENIOR CITIZENS DISCOUNT.....what the...LOL---I am 49....what do they consider senior? but I will take it for sure so I won't complain on this one

no I won't go nuts but I do understand how to save money now combining store sales, electronic and coupons. I was confused but now I got it down pat so this old gal will never be paying retail again for anything (mostly)

off to get work done, sun shining I gotta get outside!!!!!
Ok, now that is just stinking AWESOME!!! I need to figure out the coupon game!

thanks ya'll

it took about a month to figure this out.

now I realize how to play the game and being limited, I have one good store to 'find the great deals' and thsoe will just have to hit on my products I do buy.......so many great deals but I don't buy those products LOL

I don't buy boxed mac n cheese but I could get it free but heck if ya don't use it, what good is it------THEN I SAW the coupon show that said "use it to donate to food bank"-----which while I saw I would hate to donate food I do not eat or advocate truly.....there could be someone needing a darn meal and that boxed mac could be diff. from hunger to fully tummy, especially a kiddo......so my next step is donation of 'decent products' that I can get for free!

I am proud I finally figured this out but like I said, it took alot of my time.....time I now did have cause I shut down the income farming....so I will pick and choose the deals out there with as limited time as 'my free time allows' LOL

but I got it ya know...I figured it out LOL

hmm...so much more games out there to play in life...hmm...

I can't believe you. Great job. So is your pantry bursting yet?? :p
LOLGina yes on some things

I got 12 bags of potatoe chips in the pantry. all darn near FREE
and heck we barely eat them LoL

but when Mom and Dad has my bros over come July 4 I can bring 3 bags for the kids and they can demolish them, but heck Nicole barely eats chips...she is a doritos gal like me LOL

but yes, I have a nice 'baby' stockpile happening which I have to say I like but I am not a clutter gal so I will be limiting what is in the pantry at any time. I can't handle too much ;)

well I checked my grocery receipts and one key coupon did not triple as expected. I called the store and they said bring in the receipt but without seeing the coupon, I know they are going to tell me, well it MUST have said do not double or triple..lol...but I know it did not cause I went over every single coupon with a fine tooth comb to be sure my experiment was correct.

but it was 5 coupons at .75 off....should have tripled to $2.25 each
so I am out $7.50 to the good for me but I also know I am not worrying over it at all---BUT it taught me to WATCH and READ the receipt right then and there in line. So check while in the store --DUH---lol

cleaned the house real fast...all nice, neat and perfect.

made a ton of soap for inventory to get stocked back up.

going to go sit for a while and veg out, gotta eat something, starving and haven't had anything yet.

nothing much doing, little this, little that and not much more which is nice :)

saturday

hmmm...a few things to accomplish early and the day is mine to goof off! I like that!

make few soap batches
wrap order for store and deliver in town and hit a dollar store for a few things I need

then day is mine
hmm..what to do?

I wish I could swim. the darn pool is freezing still lol that just stinks. so ready to lounge....but today will get hot so putting my lounge out on the porch and get out the sprinkler for Nicole to play.
probably make me a big old rum and diet pepsi and relax....ahhh this sounds nice.

nothing much doing because I don't want to do much hahaha

just made spaghetti for Nicole.....she lost her big front tooth and wow, the tooth fairy gave her a dollar! she is stoked!
she came home just so tired from school and clogged nose (allergies) gave her some Benadryl and she slept from 4:30 to 3:30 this morning--yup into my room she came...for a bit and back to her room to finish sleeping til 6:30. Now she is starving so I had leftover spaghetti from dinner she missed and she is on her second plate---and watermelon for dessert. breakfast of champions

so off to get a few things done and then enjoy the sunny bright Carolina Blue Sky!

At least you get most of the day to play. I need to really work on farm chores today because my parent's 50th wedding anniversary party is tomorrow so I won't have time. Plus I have to cook some dishes and get food ready for their party. But hey, after being married 50 years, they deserve a party. :p

and ya gotta cook :p

but a 50th is a celebration and I am sure it will be a blast. hope it goes great for ya'll!!!!

yesterday was a good day but not a 'get a drink and lounge on the porch' lol

Nicole had 2 girl friends come over. both nice kids, and wow, they were wide open. Pool not ready, chemical loaded etc. so needs time to filter, and cold water, lol, so I set up the sprinkler for them. all kids had a blast, the left at 6:30 so my day was active til the minte Tony got home from work....hot dogs for dinner last night LOL

Sunday seems ok, little cloudy outside. Hope the sun comes out.

off to Moms and Dads in a bit to hit the lake. goof off and relax.

Tony off today so staying home to get that stupid fence back up in the yard. I need a pasture fence completed lol.....so he is off to buy the fencing etc and will do alot of hard work today...me, not wso much hard work LOL

ugh

off to get ready and hit the road. eveyone enjoy their sunday
