everything fine and yea our area got nailed with the bad weather....they were tracking a tornado heading straight thru the airport or something like that.

hope your hubby is fine. I heard the airport traffic was all screwed up....did he get home OK?

haven't heard yet what the local damage was...will check

Like Nat said, big storms in the area last night...tons of thunder, lightening and tornado out there. I have to check into damage for the area.

sunny and hot this morning......woke up with a headache....nose clogged, and all that sinus mess....gotta hit some pills lol


being friday I am not doing much today. not in the mood.

Nicole inviting 4 friends to come over tomorrow and swim. We will see who can come etc and I will feed them crappola and they will have a good time LOL Nicole's first pool party.....wee....so gotta get my bit of chores done today so tomorrow is wide open with nothing to do.


hard rain last night and everything seems fresh and clean. the rain got the bird poop off the side of the garage...stupid birds in the soffit and just annoyhing the hound out of me big time but the babies are chirpring and it shouldn't be too long before they fly away...YIPPEeeeee

well off to get this day started...everyone have a good one!

saturday and it is cloudy outside...had this big storm system hanging over us the last few days.

and today 4 little girls come for a swim party...ugh...I have my fingers crossed that the sun pops out. if not and it stays chilly out there then no swimming....just goofing around.

I knew the weather was iffy today, so I made the little get-together for 11 to 3. that way the time is controlled in case they get bored and no pool LOL

so 11 it will get wild around here but that is cool...the little kids are all nice ones so that helps alot.


nothing much doing. same old.


moving slow, got that sinus stuffed allergy feeling blah, blah, yea,you learn to live with it lol


edited to say my contractor neighbor David showed up with the ditch witch. I am putting power and water down to the pool. no cords thru this yard....lol...what a day for this to happen with 4 kids coming over in 1 1/2 hrs. lol he is making a mess right in front of the swing set...UGH UGH

I think today will be an indoor, and play in front yard kind of day. No darn sun yet.....pool party seems to be crashing LOL oh well, we pushed the pool thing...weather is so unpredictable until June around here with swimming. but getting hotter so maybe a dip in the pool? we shall see.....
David built my big addition tv/playroom/mudroom on the back of the house last year. he does fabulous work!!!!

Sounds like a pretty good day to me. I'll be cleaning out goat pens this weekend. We are FINALLY getting a few days in a row of sun. I haven't been able to clean out goat pens since February so the hay has really piled up on the floor.

By the way, I'm thinking that you really do like your little dog. She has been your avatar for a while now.

wow I don't envy you that hard barn work....been there, I know what it is like and it ain't wonderful LOL LOL---some days you don't mind it, other days you just wish it would go away.

hmm...dog still a bit away from 1 year old..hmmm..only about 13 more years to go..UGH...yea I do like it (a little haha)

hot and humid here

kids having fun in pool...one can't swim well, and is kinda scared so watching closely......they aer on the back porch eating nuggest, mini corndogs, cheetos, watermelon and canteloupe.....OMG they are eating so much food it is insanity lol

and ice cream cones for dessert ---


I needed a break...5 little girls can sure screech alot.

well back in the pool in a little bit after they scoffed down tons of food......wee...and away I go.

and first time so many kids in bigger pool I am a bit of a wreck watching everyone LOL LOL

well good news----they are officially tired. they are out of their bathing suits and in the playroom goofing off......ya hoo

ugh, I tell ya K the food is just icky but Nicole's friends won't eat anything else--well pizza. I gave them what they wanted.

these kids food choices are so limited, I am so happy that Nicole eats so many more good food options--but oh yea, she joined right in the feast of boxed junk hahaha


I am so happy they are out of the pool now cause little Emma that wasn't a good swimmer really had me worried. ugh.....but all is great and THEY LEAVE at 3....whoop...which all should go home super duper tired LOL
