did wonderful at the grocery store.

Total cost: $114

I paid only $43

I saved $71.00----(year to date savings at HT: $1,189)

HOT DARN I am getting good at this. Found a new Harris Teeter....about 10 more miles up the road and WELL worth the trip. My old HT is small...this new one they built last year is huge and new and nice and wonderful and HAD MY ITEMS on the shelf.

oh yea....this gal is going to have a blast grocery shopping from now on.

free Lipton ice tea, free deodorant, free yogurt, free chocolate, free iced tea drinks were among my total free deals. I had to pick up a few items to round out food for the week....but I am stoked!

Tony putting pavers around the pool. We are jutting out to make a huge sandbox area on one side for Nicole to play. Tony does great work. Good thing I married a hands on guy vs. a computer geek who never gets his hands dirty lol

everything right now is running perfect and wonderful. sometimes life just goes on easy and fun and right now I am in that category...wee...lol.......

everyone enjoy the day....hot and sunny here so hopefully swimming will happen soon in the new pool. Still a little BBrrr

Congrats on your coupon shopping!! I just LOVE when I can do that, altho its not very often. Most coupons we get are for things we dont use. UGH!

yea Just
so many coupons I don't use either....those higher costs is multiples of the same item.

Like today was 4 boxes of family size tea bags...all free
I got 6 Heinz ketchup...on sale $2 ea...triple .50 coupon so they only cost .50 each
French's mustard on sale for $1.29 --had 6 coupons at .40 off each...so each mustard cost only .09 each after tripling and now I have 6 mustards that should last a long long tiem in this house HAHA

so while it 'sounds like alot of different food items' to make up that total cost...it really isn't lol

Back in the 80's I was a coupon queen. It is certainly an addictive way to shop. :D

And speaking of addictive shopping habits, about 10 or 15 years ago there was an article in our local paper about a woman who had done all this extreme coupon shopping.

When she died, her kids found the entire basement stocked with rows and rows of metal shelving filled with food. It was like a mini-grocery store down there. Since she lived by herself, they were not sure why she was buying all this food. I think they donated most of it to their local food bank.

Be careful out there, FarmerChick!

 LOL Kel---that won't be me.

I have chances to buy items for free and I pass on it actually....cause I don't use the product.

no--I am not a hoarder type...in fact I am the opposite...I am a minimal type person. no clutter in this house and for sure if I do get a bit of clutter it isn't going to be food items lol

you are right tho...it is addictive...but right off the bat I realized I have to keep it truly in 'reality' of what we eat/drink/use and not to go overboard. lol
