So sorry to hear about Tonys dad! That sounds really rough. And Tonys friend also. Things do seem amplified around holidays!

In regards to the pup, google it first, but if you give any dog a bone it should be a raw one. I believe it is the cooked ones that splinter.

Have a good time at your restaurant!!!!

Hi Snap

Did my vacuum, fast dust, fast organize and everything is perfect in the house. put out a few more light decorations in the living room to jazz it up for tonight.

Off to dinner early with his parents, then home to have Nicole open her grandma/papa presents. Then a bit of fun and I know his parents always leave early, their bedtime is like 9 haha...on a farmer schedule, cause they are up at 6 ya know

I have this holiday under total control. now is the down time to relax for the next few days and enjoy. My work is done. So party time it is now!!!!!!

everyone enjoy this holiday! merry christmas to all

Christmas was fab!

Everyone got great things. Nicole went nutso over her new laptop and loves that DSxl. It is also a camera and goes on the internet. I didn't know all that lol
She was super happy with her haul.

I got a Jack LaLane juice machine. Always wanted one never got it so this year Tony surprised me and bought the darn thing lol
Have to open it and read the recipe book and start making some super healthy juice drinks. I think it will help the old health. I guess it can't hurt :p

Tony got a $100 to bass pro from Dad so we are heading off there tomorrow for him to shop. wants some good clothes plus I gave him another $100 to get all he needs.
They should have the 70% off sales on clothes so we should get a good load for low prices.

beautiful weather...absolutely georgeous here. like spring

all going well and will go into this new year taking it one day at a time.

working on soap stuff right now.
have to get room cleaned a bit, some orders are piling up now so time to get off the holiday mode and into the work mode again. geez it goes fast.

laundry and general cleanup today. nothing too hard :p

cold outside but beautiful Carolina blue sky. boy it rained a ton the other day. everything is pure mush.

went to Bass pro last night. Tony got a big battery recharge thing for his game cameras with one of his gift certificates. Nothing else. He could not part with $45 for a shirt LOL he said he just couldn't do it....a $65 shirt on sale for $45...no way he said. He told me to go shopping and find him a few new shirts for a reasonable price...lol....yea leave it up to me to find the bargains. Some nice Carhart pants for $50. BUT he couldn't do that for a pair either. I think he got sticker shock. He hasn't shopped in a while and the prices on clothes floored him. I enjoyed watching him flinch haha.....didn't even walk the mall. crowded so we went out to eat. ribs...YUMMO and home.

off to Belks and a few other stores to see if they are giving it away! Belks should be at 70% off so I will see what I can find. nothing much, just a few new things if the price is right.
will stop at grocery to buy pineapple, melon, greens and a few other things to JUICE!!!!!! oh yea gotta fire this puppy up today sometime.

then home to get a few things done in the barn. got to knock down some hay stacks. grass still so green in the fields that I am barely feeding anything. but I will go get some feed cause weath3r is due to turn cold and I would rather have it now then have to get it later lol

everyone good. all is fine.....off I go to get moving

Can't say I blame him. I wouldn't spend that much on a pair of pants or a shirt either.

yea Deb prices were high for sure. I know it is good quality but the price was a bit steep. I mean with the way prices are soaring I believe stores are giong to have a hard time of it cause I sure didn't see tons of expensive things at the checkout line at all.

hey, I saw on my homepage that 100 Kmart and Sears stores are closing. here we go.......

I heard that on the radio yesterday. Wonder if they're closing any of them around here. If so, might be a good time to go shopping. :D

yea lol--you are sooooo right.

I will check also cause if they do shut the sales would be great.

I wonder how many more will close this year cause of bad holiday sales. those stores sure need that holiday money to survive.

got into the barn yesterday and rearranged hay bales. make it all easier to feed.

I am going full force to clean up my horse barn here at the house. I am planning on a possible new horse come spring, or summer. Will start looking for a good horse in very early spring. I have to get my pasture fence rebuilt. Threatened hubby to get 'er done.

We have a 24 stall horse barn at the other land. Bought those stand alone metal/wood stall panels. very nice. Since we will never get back into the horse breeding biz ever again, and it is a monster barn I would love to use......I am trying to convince hubby to sell the stall panels. yea it is a ton of money in that barn in stall panels. I want that money back. He is hemming and hawing. not sure why? hmm...doesn't want to part with the past or like change or doesn't want to do the hard work of dismanteling a 24 stall barn?
hmmm...but it is good money, they won't be used, they are taking up tons of space in the barn and I know we should them before age craps on them. So that project of convincing hubby is in the works.

Took down all outside Christmas decorations yesterday. Hubby has this superstition of 'don't take decorations down before the first of the year' but screw that. It was beautiful yesterday. outside in just long sleeves, sun so warm. I said lets get them put away before the weather decides to change...lol....so front yard is all cleaned up and nice. Will leave inside decorations for a bit longer til kiddo goes back to school. Then I can put it all away fast when alone and don't have to stop.

soap work today
little of this and a little of that in the chore department.

nothing dramatic
