thanks SS
it is not good times ahead but it sure is life! :(
most times is the :) then the bad hits

his mom ordered a pizza few days ago. local pizza is about 2 miles away now (yea the commercial land is growing near us)

he couldn't find it. turned left down the major road. went about 5 mi. turned around and coming back saw the restaurant sign.
he told MIL not to say anything that he couldn't find the pizza place he has gone to for over 50 years. ugh
but she told Tony just so he knows the extent of it all.

we all go thru this. how we do it is key.

long time for me not to update the old journal :p

Tony's dad started chemo treatments. facility is very nice with nice people. they had a marathon day the first treatment. about 9 hrs. they start the meds slowly to see reactions. worst was a shiver cold he had. he shook off the bed literally MIL said. we got there after that situation around 12 for lunch. he wanted a burger so we stopped and got him and Tony food. they ate and I took Rachel out to lunch to get a break from the center. She is having it hard. scared ya know. But after all that when they got home she called and said he was doing well. Then the following day was like 3 hrs for some meds and Monday is a shot so should be short but last night she said FIL was very sick. Couldn't get up to make the bathroom and he was disoriented. She said he needs the bathroom constantly but is too tired to move. bad goings for them right now. So the meds got him I assume. So after todays visit to the oncology center will be interesing to see if they give him meds to help him or whatever.

after this it is 1 month off meds, then back for a second cycle of chemo. Rachel said his memory is very bad. He asks the same questions over and over and is barely eating. the losing weight will happen.

I don't see this going well at all...but praying all comes to a good end with these treatments. Nurse said people get very sick but then can get very well so most we can hope for is a good ending for all this.

everything going well. trying to get that good old routine back. holidays can get me out of whack

today is cleaning. have to do bathrooms and kitchen today.

we just got COLD. we had such wonderful weather but now that real chill is in the air. that real cold and it stinks because I had to dig out my big coat. gosh I hate bulky coats. I wants shorts and a t shirt  not boots and gloves.

I tell ya the economy just stinks. getting harder and harder to get by when ya want to buy something. stupid gas is increasing now and we all hate that for sure. we are about $3.50 now and climbing still. well at least being winter I don't go anywhere really so it isn't impacting me tons right now. bleck, hate it all some days LOL

Nicoel is doing so well in school. she is 1st grade and doing all 2nd grade math books and such. kiddo is bright. she knows it too haha...1st grade and she comes home and says she wants to be on the honor society. huh, is there one for 1st grade?? lol the student mentor that reads with her said she needs to stay focused cause she can get on the honor society and she wants to do that right now. um, probably not just yet  kids are funny. she says the darnest things now. tries to 'act big' and talks about stuff she hears Tony and I talk about and then twists it around and it comes out hilarious. comic relief right now which is nice haha

well off to get some stuff done.

Ha! Wait til she starts doing the "comic relief" at school and you start getting calls! Seems like I remember that happening a while back to me! She thought she understood what we were saying. Good luck with the cleaning day. I have a cooking day today.

Ralph had rough night, threw up all night. MIL says he is super tired today. The treatment says don't eat sweets, doesn't react well with the meds. OH YEA MIL said he jumped on cookies last night and paid for it very dearly. well live and learn I guess. He was supposed to have nose surgery yesterday but the Dr. cancelled it. He has skin cancer on his nose and Dr. said he wasn't putting him under while in chemo cycle. hmm...said blood counts were off or something. just a train wreck of nasty happening now

Nicole came home, ran thru the door from school and threw up. then fell asleep 2 hrs and woke up perfect. something she ate???? hmmm....

cleaned good yesterday so not much to do but hit my final tv room and mudroom. glad when house is perfect, means I don't have to do too much for a while. even mopped and that is something I rarely do. mopped and then steam cleaned the kitchen floor. sparkles. what got into my butt to do all that I will never know :)

soap orders starting again. customers emailing and stores want orders. so it seemed it started back early this year. usually I can get away to about March 1 without a ton of orders. not this year?? who knows...keeps me so busy tho.

other than usual nothing much. cold here but warmer this week so that is nice. so far winter has been super duper easy. I think we got away OK. Feb into Mar should be cold but that is a short time to deal with it.

so outta here :) have a great day ya'll
