I hear ya Deb.

problem with darn medical is 'when you need it, you need it bad' and gotta pay for it.

I really think I am going to start putting away $25 per week into a sep. acct just for medical needs. Just let it fill up and up over the years that way I will have 'just some medical' funds when needed. Sucks I gotta do that but I only see a 'bit more' medical crap happening as we age. ugh lol

everything good except heart monitor says WAY too many extra beats in lower chamber---so??? Dr. said go to cardiologist. I have appt. for March 1. flippy heart thing is happening. good news losing weight cause I don't want to eat. when it 'stops' I feel perfect and eat. Cholesterol a tad high. she said be careful on diet and will check it later...other than that I am perfect :p

Like yesterday was hardly any flippy feelings and didn't feel any nausea at all. this morning, ugh, have a sinus headache and flippy and pukey feeling. I tell ya some days you can't win

WELL let me tell ya this bit of sick has changed my attitude alot. I have that 'life is too short' to jerk around with it feeling. I am a bad medical sick person. Never sick truly and getting thru this heart crappola is ticking me off to no end. Like, how dare the body interrupt my life? :D but it sure can! So moving slower, doing less cruddy chores in one day, relaxing more and more along with laughing and goofing off and doing more things I like to do. Hey, I should have done this earlier HAHA

So just waiting to move forward with tests and stuff and see what it brings.

Weather chilly. waiting for spring big time. off to make hair appt for me and dog. groomer is right next to my hair salon ;) we both get primped at the same time.

hoping we warm up nice this afternoon. outside to piddle with front landscape. Want to spruce up and get spring ready. Not sure what flowers I want in my planters.

this year is about flowers. Going to go massive flowers outside. I love flowers to no end so I want to be surrounded this year. I always had the best flowers and then the farm biz took over and I left flowers by the wayside. Not ever again!!

hope all doing well. hubbys back 'seems' on the mend. Dr. said no MRI...he is released to work and they will re-evaluate after work to be sure he isn't hurting more but I think he is on the mend. I told him to take it slower also

One big project is take down 1,2 or 3 more trees to improve my backyard fence line and get my horse pasture fence back in place. Fence is #1 as soon as hubby can handle it and then rest is pushed back other than cleaning garage out...big clean. Other than that going to enjoy this summer to the fullest WITHOUT adding in tons of projects.

off to get some stuff done

not feeling well. went to heart Dr. yesterday.

a fast short EKG told him I am beating abnormal. he doesn't like the over 3,000 extra beats on the lower chamber of the heart that my 24 hr heart monitor test showed.

I am scheduled for a nuclear stress test and new heart ultrasound on Tues. at 6:30 am. I love early appts. LOL

All my numbers are stellar except that the cholesterol is a bit high. for a women he didn't like that so I am eating better obviously and doing natural things to try to get that lower but he might put me on meds later after all these tests. we shall see.

got icky feeling ya know. breathing is weird. I am not having trouble breathing but I feel like something wants to impede my breathing. I am kinda loopy feeling for sure. Kinda sick on my tummy most of the time.

I like this Dr. Shah. Real personable, seems very sharp. He is the one that did hubbys heart catherization a few years ago and hubby liked him so I picked him. And I feel very good with this guy.

key thing he wants to rule out is a small blockage that might be making all this happen....so we shall see. I want to get fixed and get fixed NOW LOL

I put down the cigarettes. I am done smoking. The other day I said this is it. done deal. don't need them and I haven't looked back. Almost no craving for them other than a few times but my 'adult' says screw those cravings and forget it cause you are now a non smoker and will never smoke again :) yea I knew one day it would be over so a few days ago was the day. of course having a medical issue sure helps put them down when faced with it :)

tired but not tired ya know. kinda losing some power. plus losing weight (which is kinda never a bad thing). not hungry.

so we shall move forward with the tests and see how this all goes down. hoping it is an easy fix. I am a bad sick person. I don't like this feeling at all and since never sick I am not sure how to handle it HAHA ugh, tis life tho.

Double yay on quitting smoking!!! I found it to be more of a habit than anything else. Took about 3 months to get rid of the thoughts about having one. I hope you find out about your heart situation soon!

well had my heart cath. I am perfect :)

what I have is an over abundance of pvcs. I am fortunate one in a group of people who feel these extra beats and they scare the **** out of you each time.

they are benign as long as you take the tests to prove your heart is good. my is perfect. heart cath was super scary but once done the procedure was simple, easy, fast and not scary :p

I found a forum on the web where people have my exact symptoms and have to persue cardiologist recommendations like I did only to find out all tests come out fine. my nuclear stress was a false reading. dr. said many women throw false readings

good news is I am fine, bad news is I feel the same flip/flop thumping etc. all the time. freaky. but they have diminished since I am relaxing more realizing my heart is actually very good and other people have this and I have mentally relaxed vs. thinking I have a major heart problem. So learning to live with this for no and find out more info later.

so working on 'working on myself' I have 3000 extra beats per day and people on this forum were diagnosed with over 20,000-50,000...I couldn't even imagine. 3K is driving me nuts, more would send me over the edge.

so all doing well so far. I cancelled my April trip cause I thought it would be more recovery time and if something was wrong I would have other work done on me, NOW I wish I didn't cancel.... so looking to book something during spring break for school. just a shorter trip.

I tell ya plans get fouled up when one is sick

so all rolling along right now!

lucky for me they went thru the arm and elbow. Not the groin area. So my arm is very sore right now if I over use it...but it is better than that groin cut. people take a while to heal from that vs the wrist.

nice dr. thru the procedure he was chatting with me saying I had perfectly clean pipes :D

so off to get a few things done
