hey E

no publix around me at all.

mine are HT, Bilo, Food Lion, Ingles (far away) and Lowes Foods (far away)

I only have 3 that are reasonable for shopping actually.

BOY I wish I had a Lowe's Foods around me cause they are kinda slack in their coupon policy. On that Extreme Coupon show there was a woman from NC who did Lowe's foods and she made out very well.

got back from CVS and checked the whole store for clearance :p, nothing I really needed so I didn't buy, tempted but held onto my cash lol

hey no call from school and she gets home at 2:30 so I think she made it ok thru the day. Sorry your kiddo was sick also. must be the thing now
I sure don't want it.

computer troubles.

my modem died. killed my laptops. called charter cable and they mailed me a new modem. 4 days to get it and when it came---only a cable...NO MODEM in the box.
I called, ranted and they are overnighting me one as we speak. geez ya know

but today my desktop came back from my brother who fixed it. so I am on that now, waiting for the new wireless modem for the laptops and so on, so on, and so on...lol

busy busy
got alot down with computers down :p

Tonys dad doing poorly. has been out of it truly and sick. he starts another round of chemo this week but they are postponing til next week cause of how sick he is at this time. they think another week should help. just not cool. poor guy is having it very hard. MIL is getting very tired. she had to buy a new dryer. her old one was on last legs and the tons of wash she is doing cause FIL is sick is staggering, so she just said screw it and had a new one delivered. good for her. caregiving is hard.

cold here now...for about a few days then back into the 60s. 60s for now is very good. great winter but ready for spring for sure.

reworking fencing. decided to take down more old fence and add new when we put up the other fence. hubby is dragging on fencing. cold out there, he don't wanna do it

all going ok except for some minor glitches in getting things done
off to bed...darn near 2 am...I gotta get some sleep :D

laptops both up and online now.

desktop working great.

I am back in biz. what a pain getting it all fixed and done....well, til next time

Tonys dad on the mend. getting over intital chemo....but he goes next week for second dose. but he is a trooper type, old farmer. he says he isn't sick even as he is throwing up  real stamina that one :D

all going well....so much to do....pittle stuff that seems to take forever to get done. cleaning soap room. ugh big job truly. takes a few weeks to get it back to normal after a big season of selling. orders still going strong which surprises me cause usually they slow jan and feb but seems to be running well so far thru this winter.

off to get a few things done.

everyone have a great day. weather is wonderful. like friggin' spring out there and can't ask for more cause heat barely runs at all. power bill is getting a wonderful break which I love :)

busy day

outside cleanup in a few areas. been meaning to haul a few things to the dump and the iron scrap place so we will do that today in a bit. waiting for it to warm up
beautiful Carolina blue sky with tons of sun. bit chilly tho but that doesn't take away from this bright day

usual chores

worked on hubbys and my bike last night. got them moving good. getting everything ready for first camping trip in April. yea yea it is super early to get ready but I sure want to go....but since my bike is in good shape right now will take time to ride bikes today a bit. Off to the store later to get Nicole a new bike. She needs a bigger one. Man she outgrew this little bike fast :) so will sell this cute Barbie bike and get her a new one today.

other than usual stuff I am moving in a slower manner today. nothing hyper :)

yesterday was all about cleaning out the camper.

I am decluttering it
alot of toys and items like utensils I never use. the draws are sparse now, the way I love it.

today is about cleaning the camper like vacuum, spruce up the bathroom etc. and getting everything nice.

beautiful winter weather. I love it easy and warmer and nice. been biking with kiddo. weather too nice not to enjoy.

not alot of coupons lately. and they changed them again. instead of .50 of 1 item, most coupons are now coming thru as .50 off 2 items. I hate that :) I lose money and that is never good :p

waiting on tax refund. just under $6K. Gosh I love tax time!!

Tony's truck needing work. darn thing. it is a 2000 Silverado. going into 12 yrs old. 150K miles. NOW IT is leaking oil, door needs fixing and all of this isn't going to be cheap but I figure $1500 into it is WAY LESS than a new truck payment....cause he is pushing for a new truck and I am holding off. Will put most of this IRS refund into savings toward big down payment on new truck we will need in the next few years. more down, less payment and trying to get hubby to see that and of course he loves shopping for trucks...so hard to hold him off. I see the writing on the wall with this truck so banking like made for a big downpayment when the time comes to get a bigger truck. We have the suicide doors. Next truck will be the full cab with the 4 doors. back seat getting tighter for kiddo. Couple more years and will need to get a bigger type back seat.
We travel alot in a truck camping so it is important this next one be all it needs to be to take me into kiddos college times and thru alot of traveling/camping. So I am going to slowly see what is out there for prices etc. and get some research in cause a new truck is on the horizon.

other than that busy as usual. Tony tore down the other side of the horse fencing. Have tons of honeysuckle growing on that fenceline. You would think tearing down would be easy. Nope it is alot of work :p

well off to get stuff done. everyone enjoy this nice day!
