husbands can't handle or figure out a schedule in life to save their life

hubby has dr. appt tomorrow at 9 he forgot.
then he has an afternoon truck appt for vehicle he forgot.

all the while wanting to go up to chemo treatment at lunchtime to take his mom out for a break during treatment.

ugh, this just ain't happening people

FIL goes tomorrow for full day of chemo. then home again for 3 weeks until last chemo treatment again. Tony wanted to head up at lunch and bring FIL something and chat and I would then take MIL out to lunch for a break to get outdoors for a bit. Doesn't seem like it can happen that I can see.

Hubby can never and I mean never ever plan a day. he doesn't have a clue what he is doing let alone what I do all day
just gets annoying....has me call his Mom to set this up then find out all the stuff he has planned tomorrow. but will talk to him tonight and see what he wants to do with this schedule.

damp, rainy, icky, dark, miserable day...chilly. want SUN SUN SUN so ready for spring now and straight into summer for swimming and beaches! oh yea beach time is on my mind! I feel like opening the pool but not yet

did usual chores today, nothing exciting

got myself some of those exercise tapes. with weights. did a few over the last week and did a big workout with weights yesterday. HOLY crappola my chest is killing me. can't swing open my arms. have that horrible ache from doing too much with weights. So I didn't do any workout today. BUT tomorrow I will. Tonight I am getting on my recumbant bike and do 10 miles or so which is like an hr. shouldn't hurt my chest and arms like those weights did to me :sick But ya know this is a good feeling ache. wanted to get more toned for the beach in my good old bathing suit so I am sticking with the exercise videos and weights. they aren't that bad.

so working on getting toned for summer

everything is kinda running slow thru the icky winter. just doing what we got to do to get by.

off to get dinner kinda started before hubby gets home from work

hope everyone had a good day

wow been a bit since posting in here.

Well I decided to buy a Emergency H2O filter kit. then I have to just buy 2 food grade plastic buckets with lids. $30 for filter system which knocks out tons of yucky from the water and should be only about $40 for a total water kit. watched Utube video on how to make it. super duper simple. well worth $40 to have this system in my emergency home supply pantry. Gonna order it soon.

went to Dr. having heart palpatations. had it before many years ago. never found anything wrong. went back and they did a ultrasound and fine. I got 9 viles of blood taken. LOL She is testing me from menapause stuff to cholesterol and entire vitamin check on body and more. All 9 yards. heck I got insurance, why not LOL
wore a heart monitor last night for 24 hrs. we shall see how that goes. EKG showed fine. BP fine. HUH HUH and more HUH. I do not know what is causing it. kinda makes me feel creepy when it happens, like my heart comes up into my throat and flips. I don't know......she probably will want a stress test again but I passed the last one with flying colors so I might not do it. Will talk with Dr. next week after all results from lab are in and we will see where we go from here. Like last time, probably nothing. And last time the flips just 'went away'. Why they are back after so many years I just don't know. strange, but working with Dr. again on it--so a big ???? on all this mess.

FIL doing his second chemo. MIL says all OK so far. not too sick and doing well thru it. So hope that continues and he doesn't get too ill from all the meds.

Tony's truck. Oil leaking. Only $400 in work...thought it might be rear end seals but wasn't thank goodness. $1200 vs $400. take the 4 anyday LOL
we are truly working toward saving tons more money to get a new truck. this sucker did alot of work, going over 200K miles soon and it worked well but time for a new truck. So working towards that situation.

Parents going to Cherokee in the Mts. to gamble for their 56th wedding anniversay. Wow 4 more years and they hit the 60 yr mark. lol Mom said she is suprised she hasn't whacked Dad by now LOL Parents are 82,83 and doing perfect. no meds no anything. can't ask for more than that!! :) everyone should be so lucky!! :)

got a brochure for PirateLand at the ocean (campground)....summer rates went up to $76 per day. WOW wow and more wow. I love myy $26 a night state park right on the beach. I tell ya it is the way to go. Can't wait for all my beach trips planned this year.

prices are skyrocketing all over. So I am carefully stocking up on things I know I need to make it thru any more crazy times....not crazy, just a bit more care into my pantry and emergency supplies. tide me over til all this economic mess seems to come to a conclusion. if it ever does --who knows.

thats about it right now. just plugging along and doing well and having fun. and the usual chores and such.

off to drop off heart monitor back to Drs. office and hit the grocery for a few good sale/coupon items then home to relax.

I am getting the hang of this relaxing thing. I was always go go go every stinking minute of my life. I am finally just starting to realize I don't have to do that. Finally changing my attitude of relaxing is a good thing. I used to relax and think of all the work I should be doing :) but now I say screw it. I am starting not to do that.
live in the moment and enjoy life. eh, it will all get done somehow

everyone enjoy the day!

took back heart monitor and they gave me fast chest x-ray and 'how hard can you breathe into this tube' test.
xray looked great and have to wait on tube test for breathing but I think did very well

no on in there at all. so quiet and got the tests done super duper fast.

had BP of 130/90 yesterday when I went in to get the heart monitor being all scared....heehee......I had the nurse take it today and it was 110/72
Now that BP is good. I can live with that. I was happy to see that number back to normal cause I knew that first bp being so high sure wasn't normal for me.

Donna the test appt schedule lady came and got me and said---this is what Dr. Susane has scheduled for you

GET THIS

(I already had small ekg in office, heart ultrasound yesterday, bloodwork being done, and heart monitor for 24 hrs)

One list was chest x-ray, breathe tube strength test, mammogram, pap smear, bone density test, MRI for neck, cat scan for sinus, gallbladder ultrasound, colonoscopy, stress test and like 2 others I can't remember right now---CAUSE I freaked out. NO WAY. ain't happening. I can't afford all that now. too much for sure LOL LOL

I got 2 off the list today, xray and breathe tube.

I told Donna I want appt next week to review every single thing we have done to date first before anything else is scheduled.

(I do all my girl medical stuff with womens center where I went when preggo with Nicole. So not doing any of that with their office anyway)

BUT geez....that is SO MANY tests it is insanity. Yea I knew when she saw me she said, hmm...I got ya now for some tests. Had no idea she meant all that :(

with all those tests, I can tell you truly I AM FEELING BETTER INSTANTLY CAUSE, WELL, YOU KNOW, WHO WANTS TO DO ALL THAT hahaha

just rambling. seems like so much ya know. just blew my mind

so go back next Thurs to find out all the results and see what I do from there.

holy cow. go to a Dr. and see what it gets you...misery HAHA

I tell ya....it is insanity.

You don't drink caffeine do you? That will do it to my heart rate if I have caff drinks too many days in a row. I rarely drink anything caff these days, so that makes it easier. It will also mess up my other half's heart rate, too. It would be easy if that were all it was!

I totally wouldn't do all those tests either... seriously. That is nuts!

Glad you're feeling better, even if it is by default of not taking that many tests! :p

no caffeine

hate coffee, no sodas or anything. if I do drink a diet pepsi it is always caff free.

heart isn't racing at all....just flips/flutters a bit and no pain or anything. no other signs of anything ?????
very very weird. and to boot I had it years ago and went away on its own?

I am that medical mystery type person.

yea those tests are off the charts and my 20% wallet part I need to pay !!!

I gotta put a hold on alot of this stuff...Dr. is a runaway freight train, gotta derail her LOL

My Dr wanted to run a ton of tests on me a while back, for something I thought was really nothing. Once I saw the list, I stopped him and asked what on earth he was thinking! He said, it WAS probably nothing, but things have gotten 'weird' in the world of practicing medicine. If he didn't order a bunch of tests, and rule out a bunch of stuff he was almost sure it wasn't and I died or became deathly ill, he could have a huge problem on his hands. He said the insurance companies have given Dr's strict orders to CYA, or they may be paying lawsuit settlements out-of-pocket. I told him to draw up a paper stating he asked for the tests, I refused, and I'd sign it. We pay 25%, so a bunch of inflated cost tests were NOT in my budget just so he could CYA!!

Hope you get good news next Thursday!

that is interesting SS now they are doing CYA tests

while I won't refuse a test geared at my problem truly, just to add on a ton of tests cause I am in the office ain't cool for my wallet either.

eh, it will all come out in the wash. do a few tests, see what is happening and go on from there. best I can do --thanks, I think it will be good news. so far from all they did 'all seems fine'

My hubby isn't happy about the $45 a week I'm paying in co-pays for PT right now. But, I need the therapy. I could not do some of the stuff they're doing on my own. I just hope I don't need it longer than the 4 weeks.
