I got the tick from the boss's house I think. they have about 14(thousand) cats and 4 or 5? dogs...I'm pretty sure that is where I picked it up.

In the grand spirit of this thread, I'm going to hijack this conversation away from the goats and onto the bugs.

One of the local TV stations had a big "expose'" on bed bugs last night. It's a serious problem, I get it, but some expert said that the days of having a big party of friends over and throwing the coats in a pile are over, since if the bed or a coat has bugs everyone will take them home. He said in effect not to have a party and gave all these precautions to take if you have company over.

My family and I will be in level 2 Bio hazard suits when we visit......

I have heard they are very easy to get and making a comeback...yay huh? I worried about that when DH was having to stay in hotel rooms for a week at a time too for work

It is the bestest milk I ever did taste cause we produced it here on the farm!!!! It is really creamy and gooooood! I want to save it to make ice cream this weekend IF I survive this work week

We have about 3 more trailer loads to move tomorrow, then I have to clean the rental house and we should be done there. There is still a dog fence to put up, garden to help put in, a fence for the cattle to put up, and LOTS of outside work. we also have to knock out an interior wall, haul trash off and a few more things before we are completely finished.

100% fertile I haven't candled the second set yet though. I am supposed to do that tomorrow if I remember.
