I CANNOT stop laughing! My DD13 has had me rolling all day. She is SO entertaining when she is sleep deprived

First thing this a.m. I had just gotten some bread out of the freezer to thaw and she was making a sandwich to take in the car with her for breakfaast, but it was still damp in the middle so her first thought was to use the blowdrier until I stopped her and said "DUH RILEY...TOASTER!!! HELLOOOOO" and then I got the look, and she even cracked up.

THEN.....I took the deer to my buddy to skin and quarter for me, as he does deer processing and we got to chatting. He said something about wild hogs and the biggest he had ever butchered for someone was 350 pounds. I asked if he processes chickens and he said no, I don't have anything to scald then in, so the conversation goes on and I kinda noticed DD looked a bit puzzled, but whatever ya know? Well I had forgotten her puzzled look and we were in the car on the way home, and out of the blue DD looks over and says "If he can process a hawk, why can't he process a chicken?" I about DIED!!!!!! I almost peed myself before I got home! I told her THINK about what you just said...she says well didn't he say hawk? And I said a 350 pound hawk....REALLY?!?! And FINALLY *click* BAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!! I have giggled about that all night.

There was something else, but I forgot what it was now...she's so hillarious when she gets up too early. Her brain must stay asleep. Poor kid! Her daddy has been merciless with the teasing over the giant hawk :gig

We just cut up a beef at my sisters this past weekend (not the first time you have to realize). I'm sooo disappointed in my family, the kids didn't even want to grind the hamburger.

My problem with meaties is the fact we do 30-50 at a time, it would take me a week. I "have a guy" that does them for me, leaving them whole - I then break them down however the wife wants them.

As parents, are we allowed in this day and age to SAY THAT! The youngest two did help me make meatballs, meatloaf, hamburger patties, and bagged the remaining ground beef. So, I can cut them some slack.

Hey if I have to put up with her, yeah I earn the right to say THAT!! Besides she grins and admits it most times, so I give her other things to do instead ;)

Good on the young ones!! I truly believe you have to catch them early to get them interested. Littler children are MUCH more accepting!!
