You would not believe how many people have boxes full of newspapers and cardboard sitting in there garages. Just have to get the word out that you need it.

You can do it!
Oh yes I would, my grandma is a pack rat, but she won't give up a shred of anything  I'll look around and see what I can find though. I bet I could get boxes from some of the stores to lay down as mulch :hu I just have to regrou and reorganize EVERYTHING now. Just makes me mad
Channel that mad, woman :old TIs the beginning of a new garden for you all :ya

I'm channelling the ticked off southern with irish temper! I wonder if my "coop goop" from this last cleaning(2 days ago) would be too hot still? It is full of hay and bedding mixed with the poo.....bet it'd be useless for anything but plant murder. :/ I gotta figure this thing out pretty quick or I'll have nothing.
I always use hot poo! Its all in how you use it.
A layer of paper stuffs, then hot poo/bedding, followed by hay and a bit more poo and then hay again.
The some dirt on top to plant in.
By the time the roots get down there, it will be cooked enough.

Do you have any horse stables near you? If so, they usually have mounds of cooked stuff for the hauling off. How big of an area are you wanting to have tilled?

Really?! WOOT! I may be in business then! I gots a plenty of goat poop too...I just need to go around the yard with a pooper scooper and get it all up and take it to the garden  I think I can get some rabbit poop from DD19 and I can surely find a place here in "Burgerville" to get some cow poop. There are pastures everywhere here. I just want to avoid horse poop if i can...don't wanna deal with the weed seeds.

I MAY have enough wood left after the goat shed, and stanchion order to do a couple more raised beds....hmm...we may be onto sumpin here. :D

It's about a third of an acre. Then I have the lower quarter acre that I want to put some stuff too.

Know anyone with equipment you could barter with? Or what I've done before is rent a tiller from Home Depot. You won't be able to walk the next day and cost a bit of money but it can be done...
