DH finished the goat shed :celebrate while DD and I cleaned up around the yard, cleaned off the front porch, raked and burned leaves and miscellaneous crap, cleaned out the front flower bed and planted peas, and worked on the front yard. :D It has been a BUSY day, but a good one. We all spent about 7 hours out there working our little hineys off and we got a lot accomplished :woot

I'll be posting pics in the near future. Mind you it is all free lumber from a demolition job we did for my mom. She had a poorly built lopsided shed in her yard we disassembled and hauled home. that is what the shed is built from. It cost us about $10 worth of nails. Repurposing is Beautiful! :) I love my hubster :love He's handy ;)

I want to build a small stall for kidding Monday. May take pics tomorrow and get ya'lls advice on how to go about it ;)

FJ I think I may have worked out how to do my garden after all. Still won't be able to be as big, but I am thinking of incorporating some other free building materials we have laying around into a greenhouse to extend my growing season :D

I have a little used trampoline that I can use the framework, and the framework for the now destroyed swimming pool thanks to stoopiddog. I think they are the same circumference so I could make a long greenhouse frame using those and have lots of places to hang hanging pots and such. That will give me a GREAT long extension to my already long growing season. Our growing season is approximately 235 days and with the greenhouse I could probably extend the season 60-90 days minimum. That would have me growing 9.5 to 10 months out of the year!!! If I can't grow enough then to self sustain and sell some produce, then something is very very wrong with me

Only SOME to get the wood burning good ;) I have like a million more scattered over the GARDEN SPOT to use for the garden :D We have LOTS of trees, mostly oak and hickory, so we have more leaves than we could ever use up. Then theres the woods...I could bury my house in a pile of leaves we have access to so many :th

Oh! You have it made for garden material then!
You should look up Hugelbeets as well.
Save all your rotten logs, stumps and brush.
